If you order through their website, it automatically defaults to this location in a way that is easy to make mistakes. There is no way to cancel it via email or through the website and the phone number that they have on file does not work.
The good is amazing, lady at front desk is rude to women but nice to men!

I'm sorry, but this Pueblo Viejo location is so mid compared to their others. It's a good day when they're taking mobile orders, but I've also had friends who never received a text message to pickup their order either. I think this food truck is overwhelmed 90% of the time and that directly effects the quality of food and service. Which is no fault of the workers, just a hard truth. I adore the Meanwhile location.

Really expensive for the quality and taste of the food. There are so many good options around Austin for the food to be this subpar

I’ve visited Pueblo Viejo close to thirty times now and somehow, each visit still feels like a little celebration. While not every item on the menu has dazzled me (the gordita I tried once didn’t quite hit the mark and their guacamole isn’t exactly winning any citywide contests,) there’s one dish that keeps me coming back without hesitation and helps them maintain their high-accolaids: the Migas Tacos.
These tacos are quite frankly, in a league of their own. The eggs are always fluffy; never dry or overcooked. The flour tortillas are consistently warm, fresh, and just slightly crisped on the outside like they’ve kissed the griddle for just the right amount of time. But the real star of the show — the component that elevates Pueblo Viejo’s Migas to near-legendary status — is the generous helping of crispy tortilla strips tucked inside. Perfectly salted, addictively crunchy, and somehow never soggy, they bring a contrast and texture that’s hard to overstate. There’s truly only one other taco joint in Austin that even comes close to matching this degree of crunch factor.
Now, allow me to go full taco nerd for a moment: years ago, Pueblo Viejo offered an extra-hot Yucatán-style roasted habanero salsa about which I still fantasize. It was dark, complex, smoky, and unapologetically spicy — a unicorn in the world of salsa. I ask about it every time I visit, clinging to the hope that it might one day return.
Pueblo Viejo has earned a well-deserved spot as the #2 taco destination on my meticulously-ranked list of 160 taco spots across the city [AustinTacoMojo.com]. For that ranking to hold steady visit after visit, you know they’re doing something right.
