I am unsure as to a review of Qi as a vegan. Nothing is marked vegan on the menu, although our waitress said there were a few things that could be made vegan. We were told the fried & steamed dumplings, scallion pancake, and tofu/rice dish were all vegan, but Im just not sure as our waitress seemed a bit confused at times would really be nice to mark items as vegan on the menu, especially for allergy sensitivities. I did think everything was delicious though and very creative.

Great ambiance and a nice indoor and outdoor seating area along with a bar. Bar service was great when I went!

Took some out of town guests here visiting Austin for the first time and we all loved it. Kids really enjoyed the soup dumplings and adults lived the scallop, caviar dumplings. They were seriously so so good. Ambience was amazing too.

They won’t take orders by phone, and their web site order system is a mess. We tried for about 30 minutes with no success and concluded it was a waste of time. There are too many good restaurants to put up with this. I will avoid this restaurant.

Best Mai Tai ever. The Xao Long Bao soup dumplings and the shrimp stuffed eggplant were very good. The BBQ pork buns were standard issue, but what's not to love. The bok choy was outstanding. The service was better than average. They have indoor and outdoor seating. But even if you sit outside, snack or the interior decor and the bar. Amazing! We were spoiled on great dim sum in California. It's good to know we can still find classic dim sum in Texas.

Amazing atmosphere, great cocktails, and fabulous food! Every bite was bursting with flavor. The fried chicken with the garlic dipping sauce was one of the best things I've tasted. Lots of gluten free options too!

Delicious dim sum spot for date night or with friends! We found this place on yelp as a recommended asian dining spot and it definitely did not disappoint. My bf got the gold digger cocktail which was delicious, and for food we ordered the Qi Soup Dumplings, Basil Chicken Dumplings, Pan Fried Beef Bao, and Hot n Sour Soup. Everything came out piping hot and was really yummy. This place puts a twist on traditional dim sum in a good way! I liked the unique flavors and appreciated the fusion -- just noting this as a heads up so you don't go into the meal thinking it will be a traditional experience. Our waitress was super kind and also brought out the Mushroom Chicken Sui Mai, which were also incredibly moist and fabulous. Overall I would definitely recommend this spot!!

You know that place that's been on your list to try and you go with meh expectations and take no photos, yep this is it. I've been wanting to try Qi and let's be honest there are so many restaurants in Austin that it just never happened. It was a group date night and they wanted Asian food, so let's make reservations. This was an absolute win!! Ample parking garages in the area to start and an overall great location. Food: Soup Dumplings - 10/10 I'm still dreaming of the amazing dumplings that I couldn't wait to devour so burned the h&@@ out of my mouth - BUT IT WAS WORTH IT! Lobster Dumplings - 5/10 - I'd skip, didn't love the taste Potstickers - 7/10 great presentation Truffle Rice - 8/10 Egg rolls - 7/10 Hakka veggie noodles - 10/10 so many delicious veggies and so much flavor Seafood Delight - 7/10 basically it's a seafood curry that paired great with the truffle rice Asian Fried Chicken - 5/10 if you're looking for a battered fried chicken, this ain't it. Think crispy unbreaded chicken that could use a sauce or two Overall, great experience. Great atmosphere. Great cocktails. And great company. I'll be back!

The hype had me excited! The waiter even said "Is this your first time? (Yes). Ohh, are you so excited!? The dumplings will change your life", ha, I did like that.However...... it was dirty.Sticky unclean table. The curled rim of the water cups carried the grime of the last load of dishes.... Food was disappointing. It was rich, but not very flavorful. Tasted like the flavor of fat carried the dishes instead of fresh ingredients.... Cocktails were tiny. Massive ice cubes left room for little else.... The dessert was a visual delight, but didn't taste like much.... Service started great, then lost steam.
