Honestly this place is a Austin institution. The food is made fresh to order, and if you ask nicely, they will cook specialty items too. For example that nice fish you ordered....you want it blacked instead of fried...probably can be done if you aren't a prick. 😉 The food is always delicious and I've never had anything that wasn't just really tasty for what it was.

Mmmmmmmm they had 1.50 oysters on some from prince edward island and the gulf! The food was so yummy spot was super laid back and casual great spot for friends and family to come and dine and eat not really a fancy date spot....but a delicous eat your face off!
I had catering from here and it was fantastic! Delicious ceviche and oysters tasted very fresh!

I love this female & family run business. I buy fish from there for my personal consumption but also wholesale for my restaurant and they are lovely people to work with. Great attitudes and really good quality fish, pricing. Carol the owner is so reliable and really wants to help local Austin restaurant owners! They always come through and have a ton of selection of wild caught fish. I think Central market has a great fresh fish selection as well but Quality has fresher and their pricing isn’t as gougey… also it’s nice to support a local small business.
Their black drum is probably a sleeper fish, I can’t say enough good things about it. I haven’t been able to sit at the bar for oysters but really want to do that one day soon when I have a day off! It’s a gem of a spot.
