Honestly this place is a Austin institution. The food is made fresh to order, and if you ask nicely, they will cook specialty items too. For example that nice fish you ordered....you want it blacked instead of fried...probably can be done if you aren't a prick. 😉 The food is always delicious and I've never had anything that wasn't just really tasty for what it was.
Just stopped by for some fresh fish and they had it all. Great atmosphere, quality seafood. So quick and easy to grab what you want, I was in and out in 5 minutes with dinner for tonight!
Food was okay. Service was not great. They rang us up for wrong items (gumbo instead of clam chowder) and missed other items altogether despite confirming what we wanted (had a whole conversation about which oysters we wanted… and then got zero oysters).
