These guys are the truth. Had my first experience last night and they were wonderful, very kind and the sandwich has to be the best cheesesteak in Austin. I’ve tried everyone else and I will never go back to any of the other guys. Could not recommend these guys enough if you are looking for a real cheesesteak.

Stopped by the Grackle after seeing a show on the east side and found the R&B truck outside; I’m glad sure glad I did! It was 11pm and I was ready for 2nd dinner lol and man that sandwich hit the spot. I have no real experience or opinion on a cheesesteak so I can’t speak to authenticity or correctness but it was hot, cheesy, and absolutely tasty. Had this food truck Saturday night and wow—I’m still thinking about that Philly cheesesteak. I went with the classic provolone and it was absolutely perfect. The bread was soft and fresh, just like the kind you get in New York or Philly , none of that dry stuff you usually find on the West Coast. They nailed it!
