I love this place, specifically the S. Congress location! I used to come for dine in once a week, but I would always be in a hurry to get to my next appointment. I started getting take out and let me just say…I LOVE IT!
1st: the service is equally as good as dine in!
2nd: The food quality is amazing!
3rd: The packaging of the food makes it so easy to pull together and enjoy while sitting on the sofa watching Greys Anatomy (TMI 🥰). The moral of the story is, go get your Ramen to go. The cold season starts a coming and there is no reason for you to miss out!
Slurp Slurp!!!

Cashier was did not care for customer service. Initially he would not take my order cause the rest of the party was not here. I get it it's the rule but he was not polite about it. Then when my party was here he went out of his way to ignore us and call forward someone who was behind all of us. When I pointed it out he didn't apologize for his rudeness. When my sister was trying to go to the bathroom she was stopped to be handed a drink instead of taking it to our table.

I've been in Austin for 4 months. I'm still looking for the good food everyone says Austin is known for. I'm a native Houstonian. We tried new places in Bellaire all the time. It was difficult to come across a place that wasn't really good. We were often left impressed. I don't get the deal here. It's even like Austin likes their food cold when served. What's up with that? If your mom made bologna sandwiches with mayonnaise growing up you might like this place. So far if you go to like 50 places in the Austin area you'll find 2 that are really good and worth returning too. In Houston you'll go to 50 and two will be a disappointment but at least the reviews aren't deceptive regarding them.
Emma and Jamie extremely helpful and courteous. My family and I appreciate their great customer service.

The ramen is 5 stars, it has been a while since I have been to a tatsu-ya establishment and I was a bit caught off guard an extra order of 2 slices of Chasu was $5. After taxes and rip my order was $23/bowl of ramen. 🫨

The place is built for Instagram. Food was good, but overpriced. Then again, what isn't overpriced nowadays??

I decided to do a last minute take out order recently. It was a cold night about 45-50 degrees. I went inside to place my to go order. Then saw a bench that didn't have a table in front of it so I sat down there to get out of the way of everyone and wait for my food order. This rude female employee told me I could not wait inside for my order. I asked are you serious? I am not in anybody's way and there is not a table in front of me so you are not going to sit someone here to eat. She continued to argue with me. I refused to go outside in the cold to wait for my food. I was not holding up a table for a dine in customer and was not preventing anyone else from ordering their food. I did not leave. I wish I would've thought to cancel the order and ask for a refund. I'm sure she probably spit in my food or something. It's really sad this happened because their food is amazing. From now on I will think twice about going to this particular location on Slaughter and Congress.

Waited 40 minutes for pick up, and our food was cold. Ramen is overly salty and subpar. There are better places in Austin for ramen

It was OK, nothing special. Id prefer if my order didn't require a political sexual statement, and $70 for two bowls of ramen, no thanks.
