This place is a hidden gem. The salsa is the best in Texas
My family and I ate here today and the food was good. However, we saw a rat near the bathroom area. We chose not to make a scene out of respect for other guests, but this experience made us uncomfortable. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Big beers, big margs, great food. Mexican fried ice cream! Wings are surprisingly good along with all the more standard offerings. This is our go to local restaurant. We love going here.
Love Ramos! Excellent service breakfast never disappoints!

Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Been coming here on a regular basis for about 2 years. Food is always great and service is good and quick. The pancakes are some of the best around. Also the beer on draft is always served ice cold and is a good price.

Ramos is a great place to dine. I come here very often, sometimes 3 times a day. I've had most everything on the menu and have never had a bad meal. From breakfast to lunch to the special dinner meals, they all have that wonderful regional TexMex flavor you would expect from an establishment of this quality. I challenge you to give it a try. They won't disappoint.

I had not had a chance to go here for a couple years because I changed jobs. Was able to go last week 8.2025, still great food and the best service! I won't wait so long again!

I would share my experience on my food but I didn’t get served after watching 3 tables come in after me and get served. We were able to get one drink in and the waiter didn’t wait long enough for the rest of the table to order before running off. Tried to pay for the one drink and leave and they couldn’t get someone to check us out. Worst service imaginable. Negative stars.
Sometimes a five star review boils down to 'food was good, staff was nice'. This is not one of those.
I'm from San Antonio, (arguably) the epicenter of Mexican-American culture and Tex-Mex food. I've had thousands of Tex-Mex meals at over a hundred Tex-Mex restaurants. I don't think I've ever had anything at any of them that can match Ramos Tex-Mex's chiles rellenos con camaron (shrimp). The idea that an Austin (Austin!!) restaurant can sit alone at the top cracks my puro pinche heart, but it is true all the same.
Ramos also serves good chips with spicy ranch, the only place I've ever seen do that. Awesome touch. 10/10. 100/100. What a meal.

I have been coming to Ramos for a long time. Sometimes, okay alot, I eat here. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.... I have experienced every meal on the menu and am always satisfied with the taste and consistent quality. Come on over and enjoy some truly great mexican food and if I'm there, a variety of music. You will not be disappointed.
Breakfast is served all day, tacos are good. Services really good. Prices for a full meal went up. I only wish the tortillas were better. A bit too thin and dry.

Staff was super friendly. They don't have any takeout menus, so take pics for future reference (and their portions are generous)
*got the #2 combo, queso compuesto, and menudo (could only eat most of the combo, but it was all delicious)
Parking: Parking lot is small, but worth it
