When one is under the weather like I have been, the pasta fagioli is hands down the best! my parents had gotten me some and goodness, I was already waiting more! It's that good, just the right spiciness too. I highly recommend it!

What's happening, Reale's? I've been eating there for over 2 decades, it's been in my top 2 favorite restaurants. and have a favorite dish. The last two times I ordered, carryout, it was not right. Not at all. I'm so disappointed as I hoped the first time was a fluke. But today was almost as bad. Something isn't right in your kitchen.

If I have time to kill, this is one of the places I do it. Great atmosphere at the bar and dining area. You can grab a glass of wine and an appetizer or an entree without spending too much money, and the food is pretty good.

This was my favorite Italian place for roughly 20 years. I've taken a few dates here growing up and is a favorite amongst my family. However, lately the quality of food is starting to go downhill and I've been starting to venture out to find something else.

Their spaghetti and meatsauce used to be the best. Flavorful sauce and the meat melted in my mouth. But recently, the noodles haven't been strained properly and is brought out diluted, which takes away from the flavor of the sauce. This past Friday, I visited again and the meatsauce had hardly any flavor.

We also like to order the garlic bread but the portion size is never consistent. We either get a lot, or not enough. This past trip, we would've asked for more, but It took a long time for it to be brought out to us and I had a few bites left of my pasta.

There's sometimes a singer in the main room singing Sinatra, but is often times loud and can be hard to hear, so we usually ask for a table in the back where the volume isn't as loud.

Note to the owner and manager: please bring back the flavor, and please work on the consistency of your garlic bread. Please don't turn into a location of convenience. Otherwise my family and I will be looking for a new favorite spot.

The reviews gave me high hopes. Especially seeing chicken picatta on the menu. The bar service was great and she was hustling. The wine was good. It looked like a clean restaurant. Someone ordered pizza and I thought of ordering pizza but had my mind set on the piccata. Huge mistake. The noodles were cold and dry. They don't even pour the wine sauce over the noodles!!! Also, 1/3 - 1/2 of the dish was mushrooms. When I see that many mushrooms, I always wonder what the cook is overcompensating for. The dish lacked flavor, was cold, and dry noodles. The breadsticks they brought out earlier should have been a clue too. They were soggy with too much oil and very chewy, as well as cold. No thanks.

Fantastic Italian food. A bazillion times better than that horrible chain that people THINK is good (O.G.). The mini canoli is all I got a photo of.... Boy was it rich.!

I first went to Bob's when he opened in '81. He and his son worked in a hole in a wall restaurant on US 183 where the HEB currently is by Pecan Parkway. He knew, growing up on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, that if you're going to make a NY style pizza anywhere there is only one way, "The right way!". They don't skimp on ingredients, don't under or over cook, and serve it with an attitude that they are serving you something from their family to yours.
Over the years they have expanded the menu to include other Italian-American favorites, all of which are true to his NYC heritage. Try some.
If you've not tried it, do yourself a favor, fold the slice, let the oil drip from the tip, and see if you don't agree that this is good pizza.

We decided to come here based on the reviews alone. But we quickly found out that it definitely hasn't been rated properly.

Appetizers were out, and the soups weren't available ?. Stuffed mushrooms were just okay, not really any flavoring. The bread sticks were rubbery and drenched in what I'm guessing is butter?

The menu says that the pork chop would be the best I've ever had, um no. It was ok, and the spaghetti it came with was just an odd combination.

The best part of our visit was the Manhattan drink we ordered. Very strong and delicious.

All in all, no matter how you are dressed, or how hungry you are. Their service is TOP tier at a surprisingly LOW price compared to what service and experience you receive. LIVE MUSIC IS AVAILABLE SO PLEASE CALL OR BE SURPRISED if you come on the right day! The atmosphere is something to remember and sit in the right place so you can be entranced in how they were able to make a hole in the wall location a very nice place to be!

If it wasn’t for BEN being such an amazing employee of their establishment when I ordered their food through door dash the first time and reading my message and listening to my suggestions I wouldn’t have even stopped by! Their whole staff gives the guarantee of being a happy customer. So do them and me a favor and be nice! No one likes a crappy attitude. Don’t be that guy

My first time here and it was worth going again. Wish I had known they have a lunch menu but I should have asked. The food was good and plenty of it. Turns out it was lunch and dinner and I still have enough for one more meal. Check it out. I think it was a pleasurable experience. Had to drive an hour to get there but I would do it again. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
