Ordered this cheese as a gift for a friend and she was so sweet and shared it! It came shipped in an insulated box with two ice packs and was still very cold when it arrived. The cheese was just delicious and it seemed like we all had different favorites! Top quality would totally buy again! It is also sold in a local natural food co-op near me in CA!

I visited the Rebel Cheese shop in Austin while there on business. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the Save A Chicken, Ride A Pimento sandwich and carrot cake slice to go. The sandwich was delicious. The chicken was just a faux meat patty, but the pimento cheese was amazing. It definitely set this sandwich apart from others I have tried during my travels. It came with a side. I chose the pasta salad. The portion of the side was small, but after the monster sandwich, I didn't need a side. However, the pasta salad was also very well done. I also ordered a couple of cheeses to bring home with me and they were kind enough to give me an ice freezer pack to help keep the cheese cold during my flight home. When I got back to my hotel, I realized they had forgotten my carrot cake slice. I was disappointed, but had already determined after tasting the sandwich that I was going back the next day. When I returned the next day, they were kind enough to give me a piece of carrot cake for free. This trip I ordered the Gentle Reuben. This was also a fantastic sandwich. I got the potato salad side this time and it was equally well made. Great Job Rebel Cheese! Keep up the good work!

I heard about Rebel Cheese and was anticipating visiting their location in Austin. There were 5 of us and we had a bottle of wine and two charcuterie plates. Before we could order more food, (at 7:35), we were told they were closing at 8pm, that they were short staffed and basically they kicked us out. We could get food to go but we couldn’t sit outside on their patio.
I was planning to purchase cheese and sign up for the mail order since I live in Arizona but since they were so inhospitable we were forced to leave. Its too bad. I hope the owner can get some better employees. The food was great in spite of poor service from the employee with a bad attitude

I think this is best vegan cheese deli I have ever been to. They have so many options and I really like the variety. I loved the bacon Brie sandwich as well.

I had high expectations, based on recommendations (from non-vegans), and from trying some of their cheeses at home, and they met them!
They had a lot of sandwiches that I wanted to try, and the ones we ordered were excellent!
I really appreciate that they sell vegan cheese from other vendors in their cheese case (in addition to their own wide selection). Lots of vegan food products to buy as well (jerky, honey, chips, hot sauce, chocolate).

It's important to know that I am usually NOT a fan of vegan cheese. But I got a sampler of Rebel cheese from a friend and it was surprisingly incredible. The flavors were amazing and the textures were spot on! Since then, I've tried one of their specialty boxes for new years. It's a little pricey so not something I'll get all the time, but is a wonderful occasional treat. I love that they ship nationwide, but I really want to visit in person in Austin TX!

I got a mail order holiday box from Rebel Cheese as a gift and it is delicious. It was packed well, arrived on schedule, and everything inside was in great shape. Highly recommend.
I used to love Rebel Cheese when I lived in Austin and would bring everyone I knew. Since moving to Galveston I followed Rebel Cheese as they went on Shark Tank and was thrilled to see them get the recognition they deserved. A few weeks ago I drove from Galveston to Austin to support this business as ordering online was too expensive (I am a student), and I was very disappointed. The purchase minimum (which used to not exist) makes buying cheese expensive and is an unreasonable quantity (4 oz per cheese). I bought one creamy 4 oz cheese and a few small, harder cheese pieces from the fridge and asked if I needed to freeze it as I wanted to share with my family a few weeks later. I was assured that it would last in the fridge and there was no need to freeze. Upon opening the cheeses (three weeks later) it was all covered in mold. The product at Rebel Cheese is great, but the service and new rules leave me less fond of returning. I ended up wasting a lot of money because I could not buy smaller pieces and was incorrectly advised.

I ordered 5 different cheeses. They only delivered 3 correctly, and gave me 2 different from what I ordered. I rather be refunded for 2 they didn't have than give me 2 cheeses that I don't care for. Don't count on getting your order correctly when ordering from this company

Absolutely love their vegan Brie! It’s Jain friendly too, no potato or onions. The texture is creamy, and the flavor is so rich and indulgent—it’s hard to believe it’s plant-based. Perfect for a charcuterie board or melting. The rind is aged and crazy sharp, would cut it out and eat separately.
