Wow! Delicious Food, so worth going there. You won’t regret it. We have a hard time finding good Venezuelan food outside of our house, but this is definitely a great spot, we will be coming back.
Be ready to eat! The arepas were huge and delicious. The empanada we had was good enough to be a meal too! We tried other "Venezuelan" restaurants and other places that served "arepa" like dishes in Austin but those were not traditional and nowhere near what we look for in a traditional Venezuelan spot. Reina Pepiada is true Venezuelan and no other place in Austin comes close. Ps don't try Arepa Dealers...they're awful. Keep up the good work Reina!
This place is amazing. It's a hole-in-the-wall kind of place — a food truck I thought was great. The ice cream is amazing, some of the flavors are unique and they all taste like they were made with fresh ingredients. The owner works there with his sons. He is so sweet, will explain everything to you, and it's very clear that he loves what he does. It definitely shows in the desserts they offer. I was just visiting for a day in Austin and saw that I had to try...
