Came with a group of 10 for superbowl. The maitre de gave us a section to sit in. 30 minutes before kickoff they came over and said we could not longer sit there as someone else was buying out our area. They had no other section for us to sit so we left. They kicked us out because a better option came along.

Went for another event there but this was indoors.
At first it was not so crowded but the loveRnb more event had folks in there like there would be a live concert.
The atmosphere was great and my mood and energy too.
As the night went by I found out there had a kitchen so I decided to order JUST fries because the gent next to me ordered real food but he was waiting for quite a while. I didn’t expect to wait 45 for fries but I did.
I kept trying to get the attention of the bartender and kitchen staff and what selling appeared to be the manager/owner to ask about my JUS fries order. I was ignored more than once. Then I asked the bartender for water because at this point I felt a bit light headed as I realized I had not eaten all day. Busy life.
But that does not excuse that fact tha I felt highly dismissed. Once the event got super crowded folks were waiting on drinks for 30min ms or so. This was truly a systems failure in the lack of preparedness of the bar/food flow for this event.
Finally I got irritated 😒-well I had because slight HANGRY. After being told they would bring out my fries when ready but at this point it had already been 25min- another 20mins later they arrived. Only after I had to gesture and yell out ‘where are my fries miss it’s been like30mins’
I will return but I do hope they get the bar and kitchen flow and communication down soon.
It’s a nice venue but I have no pictures because I waited at the bar almost an hour. After having my JUS fries I was ready to go.
Maybe next time I’ll have picture for yall

If you’re thinking about attending a watch party at Riviere, it helps to know exactly what you’re signing up for—because the marketing and the reality don’t quite match.
They advertise table reservations with a minimum consumption hold on your credit card. In practice, this feels much more like a cover charge disguised as a reservation, since the minimum applies regardless of how service actually goes. You’re essentially paying upfront just to have a place to sit.
Speaking of service: it’s slow, inconsistent, and clearly understaffed for events. Drinks take a while, attention is scarce, and customer service doesn’t quite keep up with the energy they’re trying to create. It’s frustrating—especially when you’re already mentally doing the math on a $50-per-person night for beer and wings.
Now, here’s the plot twist:
those grilled jerk chicken wings are outstanding.
Legit some of the best jerk wings in Austin. Bold, smoky, perfectly grilled—easily the highlight of the experience and the reason this place isn’t a full write-off.
The vibe? That part actually works. The crowd brings the energy, and once the game ends, the space smoothly turns into a club atmosphere. If you’re already planning to stay late, dance, and lean into the nightlife side of things, you’ll probably enjoy yourself.
Bottom line:
Riviere could be great. The food and crowd do a lot of heavy lifting. But for watch parties, go in with eyes wide open. You’re paying a premium for the seat, not the service—and that’s something to seriously consider before committing your card.
Come for the wings. Stay for the people.
Just don’t be surprised when the “minimum” really means a cover.

New year's eve was my first time being there and it was so unorganized. I paid for a section outside and could barely catch the server to even order a drink but once I did I ended up paying for drinks that I never recieved even after asking her three times for them. I requested a manager for a refund and she never sent them over either. Instead I was told to text a random number my transaction info the next day and didn't even get any type of response back from it either. My friend asked three different workers for hookah for the table and they kept stating they would send someone over which also never happened. I went to the shed they were doing the hookah out of and they all just ignored me until I just gave up. The flyers for this event stated champagne and a balloon drop at midnight and that didn't happen either. I feel like my money and time was wasted at this event from poor service.

New Year's Eve was our first time here. The place is huge, beautiful and esthetically pleasing. We were lucky to find inside seating and DJ Hella Yella was awesome. Two stars because there was absolutely nothing organized it seemed. We ordered two shots and they were both slivers of a shot (wasn't even measured). $26.00. Each bartender poured substantialy differently. Went to the bar to order food and when we asked how we would get the food, the bartender had NO clue. She said they'd 'find' us. Good luck with that....there were hundreds of people there. Also, when we found someone to help find our order, it was burned to a crisp...every piece. Airfryer nightmare. For as much as this party costs and for all the hype, we were very disappointed.
