We had a show time only 50 minutes after we arrived. The server accommodated us and we had a great dinner.
Host who took us to our table was especially gracious. Nice service. Beautiful place. The price for the Old Fashioned was a little high since it wasn't fantastic, but everything else was great.
It was hard to find a reservation at a restaurant after the F1 race at COTA. Being from another county, I asked a local colleague to recommend something authentic that is tasty, wholesome and good value for money. I was starving, my friend less so. I had the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin and we ordered two sides - the green chilli mac & cheese (which was recommended) and the sweet Mexican street corn. The pork was definitely tender and very tasty and I finished it all. Both sides had a bit of a bite, but which suited us perfectly. Our waiter was very good - attentive, but not in your face at all the wrong moments. We definitely enjoyed our meal and experience at the Roaring Fork and will definitely be back on our next visit to Austin. Thank you for great food and excellent service.
We had a reservation, and arrived a little early. We were seated immediately. The server was energetic, if not a bit overly so. We had our order taken and then the waiting began. Our appetizers took 30 minutes to arrive, and they were fine. The main course took at least an additional hour to arrive and the server did apologize about delays, a couple of times. When it got to the table the plate was hot, but the food wasn't warm, bordering on cold. The pork chop ordered was raw. Not undercooked...RAW. The pork was sent back, and another 20 minutes went by. No manager to apologize in that time. The food was taken back and we sat there. By the time the manager approached with the now cooked pork chop, we had already decided to just leave. They may have excuses that it was a busy weekend, but the last two weekends were busy with a huge music festival, this weekends F1 race has been coming to town for the last 13 years and it's on the calendar a year ahead of time. They had time to prepare. The way this entire evening played out has convinced us never to go back to Roaring Fork. We have been loyal customers of the Scottsdale, North Austin and Downtown Austin restaurants for years, we won't be going back.
Food was very poor. Used to really like Roaring Fork but everything we ordered came out poorly. Flavorless chicken, undercooked burger, extremely salty fries, and so on.
Roaring Fork delivers every time! Great food, service and atmosphere. Always a pleasure to dine here.
We had a great dinner from start to finish. Our server was outstanding - we never felt rushed but he was steady in getting our order for drinks, appetizer and then entree. He also boxed to the leftovers, which was helpful. My husband enjoyed his filet and street corn and I loved the pork tenderloin, grits and corn. It was plated beautifully. No dessert for us tonight!!
Everything was great! Had the 8 oz Filet, absolutely delicious, cut it with a fork. Wife had the bacon wrapped tenderloin, I may have tried it as well, delicious! Great service, great experience!
We were sharing a burger and had to send it back because it was med and should have been well done. It took forever to get someone's attention and when returned, the burger was not remade. It was cooked in the bun black as charcoal and the bun was slick with grease, the tomato mush, and lettuce wilted black. The mac and cheese was completely scorched and black across the top and seasoning was gritty. Service was slow on drinks, water, check-in, and ticket. Don't go!
Even though the restaurant was extremely loud las night, the food and service were excellent as usual. We will return but will ask to sit in another section or a booth.

Food was good, sat next to very busy service walk way and under a TV, not a good spot to sit. Service was good, drinks came out fast.
Light dinner in the bar. Clay was our server and was the most professional and attentive waitperson we've had in a long time. Food was excellent and bar service efficient.
We made a reservation for 5pm for 2 of us and bc of Austin traffic made it about 5:10. They didn't bat an eye that we were late, but probably helped it was a Tuesday night and I walked in apologizing. Food was great and Tom our server couldn't have been better. Soft spoken but very on top of all the things and super friendly. Great dinner before heading to the moody center.
We sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and the service was great. Our food and drinks were excellent!
Delicious beef filet and great starters and salads- loved the whole vibe. Great place to go before a comedy show at Rogans place
