All day happy hour on Sundays
Not worth it in any way. The burger was dry and not tasty, the fries were dry, the bartender was not attentive at all and got my order wrong because she was chatting to her friends sat next to me. I left about half of the food on my plate and she didn't think to enquire whether anything was wrong with it. Only go here if you don't care about good food or value for money or attentive service.
Service and atmosphere is awesome. But the entree I got (pork loin wrapped in bacon) was a bland in my opinion.
Food was outstanding, my fiancé and I got a couple steaks, hers being a NY strip, mine being the texas cut bone-in ribeye. Her steak was outstanding, mine was just a little underwhelming on the shear fact that it was not very thick. My fiancés steak was cooked to perfection! The mashed potatoes are a hit, the brussel sprouts could use a little work, but still very good. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. The drink menu is very plentiful, and has a ton of different options. Our waitress was amazing as well, she was very helpful, and was awesome in directing us on what drinks to order. If you want a fancy steak house without paying $80+ for a steak this is an amazing option, we will be going back for sure!!
Was a great atmosphere at the bar. Pork chop medium was ok but apple sauce was too sweet for me. But I generally am not a sweet tooth!
Great food!
We came to Roaring Fork to celebrate Mother’s Day and a family members graduation. Bad choice. The service was abysmal, and food was mediocre for the price. Our server did not even know what food was in stock, our steaks came out cold and overcooked, we were missing a steak knife at the table and it took 20 min for the staff to bring us one. We weren’t asked if we wanted any drink refills, and the server picked up food off the table without asking if we needed a box. Might as well have been at a Chilis. Do your self a favor and go to Lonesome Dove on 6th for superior steak and service. I had a much better experience when I’ve visited the Roaring Fork location up north.
Really enjoyed the new brunch menu on Mothers' Day -- Andres made a delicious meal an even better experience.
Food was outstanding. Vibes were chill like a big warm cabin. Felt forgot about a few times by wait staff but it was busy. I'd go back for sure. Get the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin!
Chill vibe, lots of wood and low light, fantastic service and amazing food. Lamb chops!

Giving 5 stars bc staff was great. There was a wait but we ate at the bar which was even better for my girlfriend and my self. Our waiter was the absolute best! Made the place a spot to definitely go back
Excellent steak and pork chop dinner with a bottle of wine.
High quality Chicago aged beef, and the pork chop was huge.
I recommend the skillet corn bread as a starter, but everything looked good.
Made reservations the night before, it was full, so do yourself a favor and check online before you roll up.
23 years later and several ups and downs I came back to my old stomping grounds. “Keep Austin Weird” is a lifestyle. Michelle Lauren and Crystal were outrageously awesome! They brought the funk, the weird and a lot of love. Fine dining? Yes! Pop in for a beverage or take your significant other out for a really really nice meal. Thank you to the staff and the GM, Manager, Lauren and Crystal for a wonderful memory! A+++
Came here on a whim and oh man was it the right decision. Lauren was our server and she was a rockstar, she gave us some great recommendations and was super attentive. Definitely recommend this spot and if you’re lucky enough to be served by Lauren. Will def come back as she really knew how to show us that southern hospitality. Great experience will be coming back. Also the steaks, Queso and carpaccio aka everything we ate was amazing.
We were in Austin for a trade show and had a great dinner at the downtown Roaring Fork. At our table we had a Big Ass Burger, an 8 of filet and another Oscar style. For sides we had the spinach, mushrooms, and the grits. For dessert we had the pecan pie. Everything was cooked well and was delicious. Our server was great and the restaurant is a nice place to have a meal. I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in Austin!
