The food is presented in a wonderful way, with a distinctive taste. They are truly experts in cooking salmon.

UPDATE: IT'S REALLY SAD TO SEE THAT THE RESTAURANT DOESN'T EVEN RESPOND TO THE PEOPLE WHO LEFT COMPLAINTS INSTEAD OF TRYING TO BETTER THEMSELVES AND MAKE THINGS BETTER WITH THE CUSTOMERS WHO SPENT MONEY AT THEIR LOCATION...THEY'D RATHER NOT SAY ANYTHING... VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
I normally really love this place. I won't write a very long post but i'm extremely disappointed. The food was just okay this time... And because we had a projected storm coming 1/24/26 I purposely ordered a LARGER DISH so I would have leftovers. They take your plate and bag your food up for you here. Which is a nice gesture....UNFORTUNATELY THEY HANDED EVERYONE THE WRONG FOOD 😕 I didn't realize it until Saturday when I got ready to make my leftovers, because yes, the storm hit Austin....And we are stuck inside. I have my friends leftovers and she is way across town in Pflugerville and we can't trade food because of the snowstorm. Who has money to waste in this economy? Our waiter was slow and his service was subpar. ... It's a shame to spend that kind of money Only to be handed the wrong bags.

First time eating here. It was very good and the Happy hour is great. I suspect the regular menu is just as good. Will definitely be back.
My 1st time to eat at Roaring Fork, and it was sooo good! The shrimp and grits was probably the best I've ever had. Our server could've been a little more friendly, but the food made up for it. I absolutely recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be back.

Was great! Came for a birthday and everything was wonderful. Entire staff even all hand signed a birthday card for me and gave me a wonderful complementary dessert to go with the great food and wine we had. Thanks!
First time visiting Roaring Fork. The Quarry Lake location off Braker is fantastic. Really love the bar area. Spacious bar area with plenty of bar top seats, large tables an booths spread around the section with a pleasing uppscale aesthetic. The Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin, Center Cut Filet, and Salmon were all great. Cocktails were just right. Left feeling good and that's what matters most. Will definitely be back soon. Recommended
Excellent steak, properly cooked, and served by friendly and courteous staff.

Honestly it was the biggest disappointment. Our server only came by 4 times and once was to drop off bill and pick up plates. We came here for my moms birthday and she doesn’t go out but I was told this place was amazing but she was so incredibly sad this place was mediocre at best. My pork chop was pure fat - the waiter stopped me mid sentence and with an attitude replied after cutting me and my mom off. He didn’t even tell us his name and I will never be coming back.

I was recommended this place so I decided to come for my moms birthday- it was anything but good. The server only came by 4 times and the 4th was to throw the check at us and take our plates. He didn't even say his name or what the specials were. We never got our water refill and had to ask someone else for water. The food was mediocre at best and my pork chop was incredibly fatty but our server was no where to be found so I wasn't able to tell him.
There are certain people who deserve recognition for doing a superior job. I have been at RF many times but I have to say that Brad Shiffer stands out. He is a bartender there and without a doubt, one of the best and friendliest in the business. He is very personable and makes EVERY guest feel welcome. I hope RF corporate reads this review because he deserves the accolades!

We celebrated a 88th birthday and an 8th wedding anniversary! The highlights of the evening were not only the delicious food, but also the excellent service!
Great food, wonderful service, nice ambiance. The experience has been consistent over several years.
