Excellent food. Best (well, tie with Gloria's)frozen margaritas in town. Very good service. Decent happy hour as well.
Service was very slow. There were 5 different waiters on the patio and it looked like we were our server's only table outside so we got completely forgotten. We had to ask two different servers twice to find our server to order and get the bill. We had an almost 30 min wait just to order our entrees.
It was honestly lovely.. all the food was cooked perfectly and the service was attentive and friendly.
Roaring Fork has a great vibe — cozy, stylish, and perfect for a relaxed dinner. Our server, Kaliana, was awesome. She's new but super friendly and really made the experience better. The food was good overall. I ordered a burger that had great flavor, though I did find a piece of lettuce that had gone bad, which was a bit of a letdown. Everything else was solid. All in all, good spot with great service and a nice atmosphere. I'd definitely go back.
This is our 4 or 5 time having dinner here. Everything was great especially the queso and the carrot cake. Service was excellent too.
After many years of eating at Roaring Fork last night we had our first bad steak there. My wife and I shared the bone-in ribeye (our favorite) and the beef quality was surprisingly poor, with far too much fat. I showed the manager, who offered to bring a new one but we didn't want one. I hope this was just a bad night for us and that quality stays high at the restaurant, because it has been one of our favorites in Austin.
Staff was extremely rude. We were asked 3 times by 3 different hosts about the credentials of our service dog. Not discretely, but from 5 feet away. We had a reservation, but they took a long time to seat us. Others who arrived after us were seated sooner. Waiter was unattentive and stoic. We did not feel welcome.
Excellent salmon and great atmosphere with nice views of the lake

Had an amazing dinner at Roaring Fork on Congress — the wood-fired Cedar-Planked Salmon with teriyaki glaze was smoky and perfectly cooked, and the Big Ass Burger lived up to its name (juicy beef, cheddar, bacon, chipotle mayo — on point!). The Green Chili Pork Enchiladas were a flavorful surprise too, with just the right amount of kick.
What really made it special was the warm, rustic atmosphere — the open flames and cozy lighting set a great mood — and our server was super attentive without being overbearing. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their steaks or the Rainbow Trout next time.

My wife and I went to RF for the first time yesterday. It was a special occasion, my birthday. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. The manager also served me a complimentary slice of pecan pie a la mode along with a very nice birthday card signed by the staff. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend them.

We had a delightful dinner at the Roaring Fork. The ambiance was lovely with dimmed lighting and candles. Our waiter Jason was knowledge and very helpful. We enjoyed the Rainbow trout, the Shrimp and grits and the Salmon on a cedar plank. We will definitely return.
Big portions, amazing ambience, and amazing service. One of my fav places in Austin for dinner and brunch.

Able to get the big oval hi-top corner table in the bar area - best seats! Qualifies for happy hour menu: excellent beef sliders, tortilla soup & beef tacos
