They were friendly, professional, and really patient throughout the process, which made a stressful situation so much easier. They have a serious lost/missing package issue. I've only lived at this complex for about 6 months and have experienced 10 missing packages, including expensive clothing for my bridal events. They show as delivered, however are no where to be found. I'm always met with the same unhelpful response from the leasing office, that there's nothing they can do due to it being the fault of USPS and that other residents are experiencing the same issue. If other residents are having issues too, shouldn't that motivate AMLI management to resolve this with USPS or restructure their package system?
I've lived at so many apartment complexes before here, and have never had this issue. I hate to leave a negative review when I've enjoyed living here otherwise, but it's frustrating when AMLI won't take any accountability to help with this.

The location is great - 8 minutes to downtown and right on the trail. I’d definitely recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jen in the leasing office! She is so kind, attentive, and always thinks ahead to make the process as smooth as possible. From my initial move-in to helping me with an on-site transfer, Jen went above and beyond to make everything easy and stress-free. She truly cares about residents and it shows in every interaction. Thanks to her, I feel right at home and never want to leave the AMLI family!

The building is not bad, but there were some car breakins when i lived there. Also, you have to be careful when you move out. You have to give notice 60 days before move out day. They'll send you an email about staying or leaving on day 60 and if you dont tell them that same day you are moving out. They will charge you month to month rates (much higher) for every day you dont give notice. I forgot to give notice for a two weeks and i basically have to pay a full month rent for those two weeks. Be careful, they'll try to take your money in that way. First time i see a building do that, they usually would just charge the monthly rent.

AMLI South Shore is amazing. I’ve lived at other buildings around town but no where has a location or community quite like this. Sith direct lake access, dog park, on-site coffee and food trucks along with multiple workout communities this place is hard to beat.

I’m incredibly grateful for Jen’s outstanding support throughout my moving process — she was truly a game-changer. As someone who is very Type A and thrives on organization and planning, I came in with a long list of detailed questions and logistical concerns. Jen responded to every single one with patience, clarity, and care. She helped me coordinate the most efficient route and setup to ensure my movers could unload quickly and seamlessly, saving time and energy. Beyond her deep knowledge and professionalism, what stood out most was her consistently warm, helpful, and positive attitude. Jen made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth, manageable, and even enjoyable. I can’t recommend her highly enough — she’s simply amazing.

I’ve been living here for a few months and it’s been a great experience. The amenities are top-notch, and the office staff—shout out to Jenna and Alli—have been incredibly helpful. Jenna came through for me in a pinch, and Alli made my move-in process smooth and stress-free.
The property is right on the lake (major win), with a private park and direct access to the trail and water. There are even tasty food trucks that come right onto the property—such a nice bonus. The gym, business center, and Amazon package lockers round out a solid list of amenities. Maintenance is fast and friendly—I submitted two tickets last night and they showed up this morning.
Overall, I’ve really enjoyed living here.

The amli south shore has been such a great experience, and a big part of that is thanks to Alexa! She truly goes above and beyond—whether it’s answering questions, or just being friendly. You can tell she genuinely cares about the residents and takes pride in making this community feel like home. All the staff here at Amli South Shore is truly amazing and willing to go the extra mile for you.
The complex itself is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, and the amenities are a huge bonus. But it’s the people—especially Alexa—that make this place really stand out. I’m so glad I chose to live here!
