POS place treat Austin people like nothing haha they'll reap wat they sowđ
Everything was fantastic. Great atmosphere, beautiful place. Live music was excellent as well! Victor was great and did a fantastic job!
I absolutely loved the ambiance! Although I didn't get food, the service I received was spectacular. She was very attentive, while not being overbearing. The pianist was one of the best parts of my visit. I will definitely be back.
Service took entirely too long and the drinks took forever to arrive. I kept joking that they had to make the fire from scratch for one of the drinks and that's why it was taking so long. Come to find out, that's probably not that far off. The other glasses were coated in sugar which made our hands unnecessarily sticky and just a pain to drink from. The food also took very long to arrive and the temperatures were strange for everything. I very much disliked the use of gold on everything, and I'm pretty sure it had truffle as well. I find that to be such a cop out to make a good âfancy' dish- let's just pile on gold flakes and truffle and call it a day. Service took so long that we had to forget the cigar portion because we had dinner reservations after. Also, the live music was LOUD (and not very good). We were sitting towards the front of the room with the music towards the back. We had to basically yell to hear each other two feet apart from the other. All the other parties (which wasn't very many, less than 10) do the same, which raised the noise level considerably. I will definitely not be returning.
Victor was incredible and took great care of us. We had a fun time, music was fun, atmosphere was great. Drinks were amazing- highly recommend the house special smoked old fashioned. The food was incredible. A bit high on cost based on the size, however the flavors were incredible and it was definitely worth the experience. All the staff was welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend this for a fun and unique date night!
It was OK? Too much money for OK caviar and wine. We didn't hate it, it just wasn't for us.
Tucked away behind an unassuming entrance, Room 725 delivers a true speakeasy experience with class and character. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance sets the toneâdim lighting, plush seating, and a soundtrack of live jazz or soulful tunes that completes the elevated yet relaxed vibe.
The cocktail program is well-executed, with a range of creative and classic options made with precision and care. Whether youâre a fan of bold, spirit-forward drinks or something more refreshing, the bar staff knows how to deliver. The wine list offers an impressive selection, with plenty of bubblesâchampagne and sparkling winesâfor those looking to toast in style.
Small plates and appetizers are designed to pair with drinks rather than steal the show, but theyâre tasty and well-presented. Perfect bites to keep the evening flowing. For a more indulgent experience, Room 725 also offers caviar service and a curated selection of cigars, adding to its upscale lounge feel.

Great service and excellent food. The waitress even made a recommendation on a good place to get ice cream in downtown.

Wonderful evening in a beautiful, quiet atmosphere. The piano music in the background was lovely, until he started to sing. Why ruin the perfect ambiance? And nobody should try to sing a slow romantic version of âRing of Fireâ. Please!
Felt like I've been transported to a modern 1920s luxury lifestyle. But with a 5 star service! The live pianist was just the cherry on top! For my Husband's birthday, and he loved it!
We paid $60 (entry only) to see a highly advertised singer. She sang for about 20 minutes. My first cocktail took about 35 minutes to get to our table. My husband had his drink very soon after he ordered it. The wait staff were very nice and there seemed to be plenty of them but it appeared that they only had one bartender, and that bartender was very slow, resulting in us ordering only one drink each. The food was tasty, but a very limited menu and ridiculously overpriced for the quality. We paid $30 per oyster and the oysters were not great. We love oysters so this was a big letdown. I hope the venue succeeds but they need to rethink the service and what they offer. The venue was not crowded and not full on Valentine's. We ended up leaving and going to a food trailer on the way back to our hotel (after a $200+ food/beverage bill at 725 for amuse bouche, essentially, which did not include the tickets for entry.) The Fairmont hotel is absolutely beautiful, but the experience at 725 was definitely not worth the price. I would not recommend this venue.
Victor was an incredible host. This was the perfect place to celebrate. Can't wait to return!
725 is inside the Fairemont hotel. It is NOT a restaurant. It's a cocktail + cigar bar. There are like 3 small overpriced appetizers, but you will not âeat dinnerâ there. It's difficult to find, once in the hotel, because they are operating it on a âspeakeasyâ concept, I guess to make it feel exclusive or mysterious, which is ridiculous in a mainstream international five star hotel.
