Everything was absolutely delicious. The Spicy Bird, Duck Fat Fries, Biscuit and Wings…all amazing. Definitely my new favorite chicken spot in Austin. The HEB parking lot can be a bit chaotic at times but worth it!

I looked up a place near where is was located and this place popped up. Once I seen it was inside of HEB I didn’t want to go in bc I wanted a place to set and eat but I went anyway. I love that it is a black owned business, great customer service employee explain what things where and there is actually a place to set and eat with a bar. Definitely recommend this place great chicken sandwich and fresh!

You know those chicken sandwich wars from not too long ago??? This place should've been named in at the least the top 5 as it's way better than any of the other restaurants that were being mentioned.
Ordered the chicken sando and biscuit sando wit a side of fries and some of their sweet tea. These are made to order so there is a little wait. Pro tip: since the food is made to order and not under heat lamps, it comes out pretty hot so you may want to wait a bit before you bite into it, unless you're into that kinda of pain
The breading on the chicken, on top of having all these great spices added to it, is super crispy and light. It has such a fantastic crunch. The chicken too, is super juicy and flavorful.
The sandwich itself is great as it comes and all the toppings work perfectly together. That potato bun is something else and really brings everything together.
The biscuit is quite nice, buttery and big enough to hold that massive piece of chicken. The sweet jalapeno jam add a good kick of spice.
Oh the duck fat fries! These really dont need anything added to the them. Just enjoy them as they come as they're perfection.

I’ve been eating here since they opened and it never disappoints. The attention and care from the staff is always exceptional. The chicken sandwiches are the best in town and reasonably priced, especially for 2024. I recommend the big bird with spicy peppers, which they add for no extra charge. I’ve worked in food businesses for 30 years and it’s clear that the staff love what they do and care about the food and the customers. Also the story behind the business is inspiring. Highly recommended.

Great food, we tried several of the menu items and all were delicious. The items were cooked fresh and unlike other fried chicken restaurants the hot fried chicken stayed fresh and crispy in the take out packaging, this is impressive. No sweated out chicken. Also loved the chicken biscuit with pepper jelly which was so tasty and again the fried chicken sandwich with kale salad. We bought a lot and were not disappointed when the next day left overs still tasted as good as the day before.

This restaurant is located inside of an HEB at their Mueller location. This HEB location has a food court which has various other restaurants. I didn't really know what to think of this place. However, their duck fat fries are notable and the Caesar salad actually has anchovies in it, which I sort of like. Give it a try if you're hungry and want to grab a bite before you go shopping at HEB.

I love the spicy bird here, definitely my go to. The dipping sauces are just unbeatable though.
My only problem here is that the kale in the spicy bird is always raw when I get it. I just wish it was massaged a little or somethin.
Wish I could give a 4.75 star for that reason but it only gives me the option for 4 or 5. So still gotta give the 5 to not bring the rating down, cause this place rocks

The fries were so over seasoned neither myself or my husband could eat them. He got a spicy chicken sandwhich and I got a regular chicken sandwhich. The oil the chicken is cooked in seeps into the flavor of the chicken and breading and it’s just nasty. Mine tasted like straight curry and there is none on it. It’s supposed to have kale on it and it was just soggy lettuce. We questioned whether my husbands was fully cooked. Both had stomach aches after. Sadly we won’t be trying it again.
