It's not the absolute best chicken sandwich I've ever had, but it was pretty great, so it definitely was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had for $9. Considering this is a kiosk stand in an HEB, these guys are punching way above their weightclass. I kind of didn't believe it would be that good, but saw the high scores on google maps and thought I'll just try it. You should too, the hype is real. Their fried chicken fingers seem reasonably priced...
Great food! I was visiting Austin and was trying to find somewhere to eat. I'm glad I found this spot. I got the Spicy Bird, fries, and tea. All of it was sooooo good! Seasoned well! The tea was really good! Anytime I'm in Austin, I'm getting Roots Chicken!!!
1000 times, YES. The chicken is delicious--the best chicken I've ever eaten--the portions are huge and the sides, banana pudding, cesar salad, fries. All delicious.
The hand-made sauces range in heat and are all in-freaking-credible.
