Every single person at our wedding couldn't stop talking about how this was the best wedding food they'd ever had.And brace yourself for this curveball: I had them whip up a completely bespoke Middle Eastern menu, filled with all the flavors I grew up loving, for a crowd that practically breathed that cuisine. When I sent it to them, Rosemary's didn't tweak the menu one bit, unlike many other companies we spoke to who seemed to think nothing of *gasp* subbing in tzatziki for garlic purée. And they kept the price shockingly reasonable, despite how laborious some of the items were (think hand-rolled grape leaves stuffed with rice, tamarind and spices).Now, my mom reigns supreme in our family's kitchen. Walking into the tasting, we wondered if they could match her magic. But when I took that first bite at the tasting, it was like a culinary time machine back to Mom's kitchen. I had to meet the chef, this tall, charismatic guy from Florida. I asked him how he got the flavors so spot-on, and he casually dropped that he'd been in the Navy, stationed in Bahrain, and that's where he developed an affinity for the food. Mind blown.Jenna, our point person, was a rock star – super organized and always on point with communication. She even waved her magic wand over our tableware rentals, making it way more affordable and every bit as classy as outsourcing. Flawless. I can't sing their praises loud enough.
