I took my mother here while she was visiting from out of town. Aside from the food being delicious (other guests were complimenting how good it looked and smelled as we were one of the first diners of the evening), the ambiance was awesome and the wait staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. My mother was raving about this spot weeks after we visited. A definite recommendation to take people visiting Austin!

FANTASTIC! I have been wanting to try this place out for a while and they're officially open on Mondays now! My partner and I tend to be pretty picky when it comes to food and Rosewood did not disappoint. The sides are well portioned and honestly brought up feelings of comfort and home to me. Obviously, you can't go wrong with the steak here. Well sourced and perfectly cooked. I could go on and on but I think you should just trust the good reviews go experience a wonderful, delicious and friendly dining experience. Jacob our server and the rest of the team were so fun to chat with. Go and enjoy!

Food was good, don't get me wrong. Service phenomenal, ambiance, exactly what we wanted. I don't usually deduct stars for pricing, but we spent almost $400 between appetizers, cocktails and entrées. For what we received it just didn't seem to even out. Appetizers were definitely for 2 people not 4, we felt like we needed to get sides, but in reality, they were pretty big, we could have just gotten one or two to share. I got the Mexican hot chicken, it had a ton of flavor, but again a price tag of $34 for fried chicken? $24 for a burger and no side? Just know what you are getting into is all I'm saying.

Do yourself a favor and get off of Yelp and head straight to Rosewood, you will not be disappointed. My partner and I dine (and consume copious amounts of delicious cocktails) at Rosewood any chance we get. The staff is amazing and we are always treated like family. 10/10 every.single.time. Some of our faves: Fried Redfish Collar Wagyu Beef Parisa (CHEFS KISS!) Beef Tenderloin Cocktails: Fresh Roots & The Wanderer Disclaimer- their menu changes often, but I have yet to try anything I did not like. Hurry, go!

As always food was amazing ! Bavette was very tender and well cooked. All the appetizers were super tasty ? don't miss the fries! Small but well thought out wine list.

Girls Night Out and it was amazing. Drinks and food did not diappoint. Received great recommendations from server to share plates and that is exactly what we did. Starters consisted of the Refish Ceviche and Pork Belly, both beautiful presentations and delicious. Entree course was Pork Chop and Redfish, we obviously had a theme we had the Spatzel and Button Mushrooms for sides. The portions were perfect for the 3 of us and we did not leave hungry, we could not decide on dessert and chose all 3 lemoncake banana pudding and chocolate concoction. All so good. Will definitely be back for a date night ne t.

Great classy place for a date or friends. Acoustics were much appreciated for conversation, with good music in the background. Either redfish appetizer will set the tone for the great meal to come! The wine options are excellent (I'm guessing the owner is wine expert). A unique Austin "must dine experience" if you want to impress out of town guests.

Looks like they had a menu change from when I booked the reservation to when we dined there. I was expecting more entree options for pescatarians vs ordering lots of sides. We had a group of mixed diets in our group and there was very little for the pescatarians. Everyone on staff was nice but a dish never showed and my last drink order came when we were finished with our meal. Seems like the bar must've been really backed up. I hate to give three stars to any restaurant with nice staff but the money and calories were not worth the food for us. My partner said it was a two star for him with the addition that Happy Hour was only for outside tables and folks at the bar.

This place was close to our airbnb so we were able to walk there. They were able to sit a party of 6 as a walk-in and in casual clothing. It is best for a group to order a bunch of sides and split entrees. They had a rich variety of food, all around it was decent. Some entrees and sides were better than others, and the drinks were okay. For the price we paid we were expecting a bit more flavors, but maybe it cost more because it is a farm-to-table restaurant.

Food outstanding as always but seriously overpriced. A glass of craft IPA at $10 is too much, as is an order of five hush puppies for $14. Good food and ambience but very overpriced.

We got the Beef tartare, Yukon masher, green beans and spaetzle. The beef tartare came with bone marrow and it was soft and delicious. The mashed potatoe like Yukon masher was creamy and seasoned well. The green beans were crisp and tangy (tomato jam). But the highlight was the Spaetzle. It was warm, buttery (from the dough) and crunchy (from the veg). All top notch.

We had been so looking forward to coming to Rosewood after seeing how highly-rated it was! Sadly our expectations were not met and overall the food was overpriced for the quality and taste. We started off with the Osprey Pont Oysters & Snapper Ceviche which were both fresh and flavorful. The Eastside Mixed Greens salad which was simple but also very good. Here is where things took a turn.. after much deliberation we decided on getting 25oz of the 40 day Dry Aged Heartbrand Akaushi Ribeye (our server highly recommended it!!) and the Heartbrand Akaushi Bavette. Unfortunately, the Ribeye was extremely disappointing and was not worth the $125 price tag. It was quite chewy and lacked any depth of flavor. It came with a bone-marrow hollándose which no one in our group enjoyed. I've literally had better steaks for $40, which brings us to our next dish.. Thankfully the Babette was much better in comparison, very tender and nicely seasoned!! Definitely recommend this one over the Ribeye! All of the meats come alone now so you have to order sides separately, we went with a couple orders of fries ($10 each) that came with an herbaceous ketchup sauce which I kind of liked but not everyone at the table was a fan. Finally for dessert, we ordered banana pudding & chocolate fudge cake. These were both amazing honestly and were devoured pretty quickly!! The banana pudding had a unique twist with a layer of dulce de leche on the bottom that made it extra special! Upon paying the check, I noticed that the oysters had a slightly lower price on the menu than what we were charged so be weary of that also! Overall the whole meal wasn't bad but the main reason we came was for the steak and that was the most disappointing part unfortunately!

Yeah, it is that good. This isn't just the typical Austin "farm to table" schtick, it digs deep into the traditions of Texas, and the Gulf Shore. We had been coming here regularly until Covid- full stop-- an old farmhouse located just outside of town in East Austin. Fast forward more than two years. East Austin is boom town. Austin is booming. And this restaurant, with some interesting changes, is better than ever. They are now serving steaks, including those Waygu/Angus rib-eye hybrids, as well as a lettuce wrap of raw Waygu, amazing oyster presentation, wine accompaniments (Willett Distillery was here a few weeks ago for a tasting menu). We did an extensive tasting menu. Next time, a hybrid rib-eye, that Waygu cold salad (whole lotta meat) and I'll be happy. The crew is totally cool-- if you sit at the chef's counter, you'll get hot on a 100 degree night. This is a serious place, having a good time in the right way for clients.

Kef, our server was excellent! He thoroughly explained everything off the menu and helped us make choices that we felt very happy about in the end. He also shared how his family is very involved in the restaurant and they also own a farm that the restaurant sources from! Very cool to know. The food btw was phenomenal! Top choice in our book for austin. Will be coming again.

Farm to table restaurant with an incredible menu that changes frequently. Their charming building is a remodeled home and has 2 beautifully decorated bathrooms inside the building. Outdoor seating available and live music on Wednesdays.Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes or ingredients and help make the right recommendation pairings. They do review food allergies at the beginning of service to ensure they can accommodate your needs. Cocktails are also creative, tasty, and well made. Overall a fantastic dining experience, I can't wait to be back and see what's on the menu next.
