Awful service unless you order the highest value bottle of wine and get on your hands and knees to offer to wash the bartender's feet. Don't even utter the phrase happy hour unless you want to feel like you're sitting alone at lunch in high school. Worst service I've ever experienced from people far too pretentious to be taken seriously. But the spritz was good and the patio was nice.

One cold day on a trip to Austin, my husband and I wanted to have a glass of wine. We stopped in at Rosie's which was kind of hard to find. One there, we realized how small this place was. There was outdoor seating but got a chilly night we headed inside. Luckily there was a couple seats by the window bar. It was very dark (you have to use your cellphone to read the menu) and the music was pretty loud from a speaker over our heads. Everyone seemed very nice. The wine was good, but not as much variety as I expected. We ordered a cheese board (I wish I had gotten a pic). It was okay. Not sure I would go back anytime soon.

This is such a cute little place. The inside is really small but when you have beautiful weather, the patio is gorgeous to sit in. The waiters there are so nice and pleasant and know what to recommend you versus wine. I got to go for paella night. It was so delicious and totally worth the price. It was $35 and you start with a salad and then you get your plate which was beautiful presentation. They do have really good wine but I will say that they need more of a selection by the glass versus always having to get a bottle.

TLDR, staff treats you like an inconvenience and the tapas are like $18-23/each.Like others have said, terrible service. Absolutely pretentious bartenders and staff. Will try to upsell you on the more expensive bottles and when you ask for a bottle within a specific price range, they roll their eyes. These reviews you see are consistent with the experience I received. The atmosphere is cute but inside is tiny. While the food/tapas are decent, it’s incredibly overpriced. You’re better off going to Austin Winery, Flo’s or Lolo’s.

Cute little spot off west 6th- we sat on the street side patio at a little metal table for paella night. There were 3 wait staff that rotated taking care of us taking our drink order and bringing the food. Paella is served periodically on Tuesday nights for $34 which includes a small salad, piece of toasted bread and a lunch plate size serving of paella. The portion was fine for some of us but felt small for the bigger eaters. The paella had a decent amount of seafood and the rice included some of the charred pieces from the bottom that caramelized and flavorful! As our plates were being picked up, one server asked to bring our check while we were still enjoying the last sips of our drink... and we still wanted to try the Basque cheesecake- a favorite of ours. While burnt on top, the dessert was more of a cake like consistency and not as gooey as we had hoped but good overall flavor ($9). There were a few Spanish inspired speciality cocktails offered. Only a few wines by the glass were available which seemed odd at a wine bar. Would like to try other themes nights. Experience overall was very enjoyable.

It was a little loud inside at the bar, but the food, service and atmosphere were great! Also the wine we had was delicious ? We did have to get a reservation a couple months out, but totally worth it.Parking: It was tough to find a spot when we went on a Tuesday.

Best tapas in Austin! I’m from Atlanta, where many more Spanish style restaurants, and this one has great quality small plates that are creative and delicious, on par with great fine dining Spanish restaurants. Olive oil cake was the icing on the cake - wow! Great wine selection and service too! Enjoyed everything I ordered!

Super cute atmosphere inside and out in the patio. I've been a couple times for HH and then the paella night. Bar service is friendly and gave helpful recommendations when asked. Their light bites are so unique and refreshing! The paella night was ok, we had lots of charred/burnt pieces in our food, I think it was the bottom of the pan. The idea is really neat but execution lacking. However, service was apologetic and it got taken off our bill.

This place is such a joke. The servers are always rude and the prices are insane for what you get. We live blocks away and were so excited when they opened but it’s been such a let down. Go spend your money at Lolo where the service is good and they actually have a good wine list.

Best lil badass kept secret in ATX! Nick knows his stuff and who we look forward to every time. Try new wines, have some apps and wait for your name to be called at Clark’s or Pecan St!! The best date night!!

This place is embarrassing. The hostess was so rude. This type of establishment/ most MML group hospitality banks on an exclusionary environment to try and manufacture desire. Its is definitely so cute inside and well curated, but it comes across over priced over hyped and embarrassingly pretentious. I live nearby and was initially excited by the prospect of a wine bar and the semi attached Howard’s. But it represents everything overblown and bloated about the ego of new Austin. Go to both if your dying to be condescended to by waitstaff or bask in the presence of other tech bro douche bags. I never write reviews but i tried it too many times and had a bad experience 4 out of the 5 times I’ve been. Id rather hitchhike to a better bar with a thoughtful wine list than walk five blocks to this place ever again.

My daughter said "it's THE spot for Girl Dinner in Austin Dadddddd" [insert her eye rolling while holding an oversize water bottle with a long straw and a handle but NO STICKERS]. I had no idea there was no such thing as a Dad Dinner??? Does french wine, bread, brie with a great conversation not count? Apparently that's also girl dinner... So no "Dad Dinner" here but I did get this great wine recommendation and their "aesthetic" was trés Francais! J'adore! Would go again to try the burger but maybe without the daughter and just her boyfriend who doesn't give me attitude and orders me fries just because "I'll want them later" as he put it. I'm having a blast in this town! A+ all around and the service was top tier; daughter giving her a C+.

Came to Rosie's for the Paella on the patio experience. It was 95 degrees and they would not turn on the fans or misters on the patio and would not give us a reason why. So we sat at a tiny bar top. Told our server multiple times I was celiac and highly allergic to gluten but they brought out bread sitting a top my salad anyway. The paella was way too salty, the chicken was dry (not worth $34), and the steak frites was under seasoned. The wine was delicious and very unique and Justin was a delight but those two things are the only reason I would return.

Beautiful little European inspired wine bar. Great wine selection, excellent service, and delicious food! Looking forward to enjoying the patio when it's not a million degrees.
