Rating is for Ross/Luisa's Patio. Just drove by today and it is being remodeled and new signage "Lindo Michoacan" out front and on the building. Likely marks the end of the traditional Ross Old Austin Cafe menu items that Luisa faithfully continued while adding her own classic Mexican menu items. Good luck to the new venue, but I won't eat there simply because I went to Luisa's for the old Ross menu items, plus I'll miss Luisa and the staff. I don't...
We love this place. We chatted with Luisa on the outdoor patio on our last visit. She is wonderfully personable and the food is amazing! There is a little stage on the patio for outdoors concerts. I wish I'd taken a picture of my chicken fried steak. It was REALLY good! Very good food, great local Austin vibe.
Had a great time at Luisa's! Simple good food. I ordered the fried catfish. Servers were very attentive. Awesome band on a Saturday night. Great place to hang out with friends.
