Royal Fig Catering

Royal Fig catered my wedding this last June and everyone at our wedding raved about how great the food was. They were so quick to help us and responsive from the beginning. They made the process very low maintenance and easy, which is what every bride wants!! At the wedding they assigned an employee to cater to just us (the bride and groom) which was soooo amazing - she kept drinks in our hands as we wanted, checked on us frequently and made sure we had what we needed/wanted. I loved working with Royal Fig and cannot recommend them enough!!

We loved working with Royal Fig! Their food is absolutely incredible and we got so many compliments. The service from their staff was also amazing and everyone was so kind and professional. The private tasting we had with them was such a highlight of our wedding planning experience. We also really appreciate Cora and Cat, who were so communicative, helped with whatever we needed, and answered all our questions the whole time!

Royal Fig did the catering for our daughter's wedding last weekend. The food was excellent - so many of our guests commented how good everything was. And the staff was amazing. Friendly and helpful and behind the scenes. Again, many compliments from our guests. We would highly recommend Royal Fig for any catering needs. Thank you!!

We were forced to use this vendor for our October wedding at Canyonwood Ridge. The bar package is ambiguous to begin with, but then they try to upsell you on everything (i.e. extra bartenders to serve liquor, tablecloths, etc.). I also saw bar staff helping themselves to our dessert (we got an ice cream truck with a limited amount of supply). Royal Fig felt greedy and extremely unprofessional.

Royal Fig exceeded our expectations at every turn. The food was amazing—we really wanted an elevated farm-to-table experience, and they nailed it! The staff were extremely professional from planning to the day of. I had several guests comment on how wonderful the bartenders and servers were. They were able to accommodate dietary restrictions, and everything came out perfectly! We chose a plated dinner experience, and the food was hot and delicious. The passed appetizers were a hit, and the kids LOVED the late-night s’mores bar. Booking a full-service caterer meant we did not have to book a separate vendor for rentals (linens, flatware, glassware, etc.), which brought our costs way down. We could not be happier with our catering choice and highly recommend Royal Fig to anyone looking for amazing food and professional service.

I hate writing bad reviews, but unfortunately this one will be mostly that. I will preface by saying the bartenders themselves did an AMAZING job on our actual wedding day, but leading up to the wedding day, working with the office folks at RF was nothing short of a royal pain.We wanted to serve 3 signature drinks (an old fashioned, a lemon drop, and a margarita). We continued being told that we couldn’t serve these drinks unless it was a 2 step process (i.e liquor in right hand, mixer in left). We found this incredibly unfair as **WE** were PAYING FOR AND SUPPLYING all the liquor and mixers for the day. Bottom line: they wanted us to spend another $400 on THEIR mixer package and since we didn’t do that, they said we couldn’t do more than a 2 step process. Our venue, Canyonwood Ridge has a contract with RF for bartending so we were forced to use them. RF's contract process was also a mess and we found a lot of “gotchya’s!” on there that you will only see if you look carefully.They also bait and switched us a few times on prices like $1.50/ person/signature cocktail that went up to 3.00/person/signature cocktail. When we asked if they could honor their original price, it was a no.Not very easy to do business with in general.

Royal Fig is an incredible choice to cater your event. They did a perfect job for our wedding and many guests say it was the best food they've eaten at a wedding. They are communicative, reliable, high quality, and affordable. We highly recommend using them as your vendor.

Choosing Royal Fig as our caterer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! They handled everything from the bartending, linens, food and drink, to the cake, making the entire process incredibly smooth and stress-free. Every detail was perfect, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Chloe Copeland, who was not only incredibly kind but also exceedingly competent. The food was absolutely delicious, and our guests are still talking about it! Chloe and the Royal Fig team went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. The food at our wedding was the star of the show thanks to Royal Fig! The staff was wonderful from the start. We had a fabulous tasting with them which honestly made it so hard to pick our menu- everything was AMAZING! We ended up going with passed appetizers and a plated dinner. They were so accommodating with our little tweaks and changes to the menu and guest list. One thing that really made our day special was that since my husband and I were unable to attend cocktail hour (due to taking pictures) they dedicated a server to us to make sure that we didn’t miss out on the appetizers and cocktails! Royal Fig was attentive, timely, and most importantly delicious! Wedding food can often be a let down but with Royal Fig it was the star!

Royal Fig was phenomenal! Their staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and seamless! They manned our venue flip, which I am so grateful for. Not to mention the food was fantastic as were the desserts! Cora was very responsive and assuring in all of my questions. Our tasting was a really great intimate experience. They even picked up our SPECs order for us the day of which made things so easy!

Royal Fig was so amazing for my wedding! The menu choices were unique, delicious, and dietary-needs-friendly. Not only was the food tasting super fun (and yummy), but Chloe did a wonderful job guiding us through the process to come to a final menu decision and also just in general for our entire preparation for the wedding.On wedding night, the servers were professional, the presentation of food was all-around gorgeous, and the server specifically designated to us was so attentive to my needs (and at that point in the night, I couldn’t have appreciated that more!).Guests could not stop telling us how good the food was - I honestly wish I could eat Royal Fig every day.And if that wasn’t enough, the Frito Pie Bar and Milk/Cookies Bar were SUCH a huge hit!! The guests had so much fun with both, and the non-Texans loved getting a taste of the Texas tradition.Highly recommend!! Royal Fig will have you covered and you can just sit back, relax, and be well-fed and happy!

Worked with Cora to plan our wedding menu. She was very responsive, kind, helpful and understanding. The food was amazing and guests loved it. Royal Fig has a great menu selection and personalization to make it fit your wedding dream. We chose to do the taco buffet with two meats and added on a guacamole station.For cocktail hour, we did meatballs and tostadas. So good!They completed all of the reception set up from linens, napkins, glassware, dishware, barware- basically everything. The staff was friendly and worked quickly. We spent $12k for 110 people. Royal Fig - and working with Cat Newton there - was the BEST! We received tons and tons of compliments on the dinner at our daughter's wedding reception. It was simply delicious. Cat was so easy to work with, and she was completely unfazed when I asked her at the last minute if her staff could try a certain napkin fold after watching a how-to Instagram reel . . . she enthusiastically agreed and they did a beautiful job with it. We made a great choice using Royal Fig!
