This was our first time to experience Texas BBQ. When we told them it was our first time they gave us samples and helped us understand how it worked. It is delicious food and a purely Texas experience.
Great place for some quick BBQ. Worth trying and the sides are what make this place even better. The cream corn and potato salad are some of the best. Also don't sleep on the turkey, it is hands down the best smoked Turkey in Texas. The half chicken is also really good. Pork ribs are fine, babyback ones are delicious, and the moist brisket is a go to for many.
I just ate at Rudy’s in Austin for barbecue and their barbecue is the best out of all that I’ve tasted. I’ve been to Franklin’s. I’ve been to salt lick and Terry Blacks, Kruse etc but Rudy’s is the best. Don’t forget to order their fantastic banana pudding at the end if you still have room.
