Rusty Cannon is always nice. The atmosphere is always pleasant. The staff are grateful as well. I love this place.

You ever wonder what it feels like to have your father respect you? Well, I do, now that I’ve visited rusty cannon pub on south first and Stassney. The bartenders are fantastic the atmosphere is electric. It reminded me of when my friend Tyler got a call from his dad to ask how he was doing. That’s what it feels to drink here 10/10 recommend.

I’m the guy that has 99% 5 ⭐️reviews, unfortunately, this place was far from it. I was all pumped up about $1.00 wings on Mondays, so I show up… place is packed, a line all the way to the door… bar has several seats available and sit, talk to a regular and very friendly, he got the one star, the bartender didn’t even awknoledge me for 5 minutes… it’s ok, she’s busy… but when I touched the menu, she gives me a look and said “if you’re ordering wings you need to get in line!!!” I go “ok, can I order a beer?” Thinking I’ll enjoy a beer while the lines gets taken care of… wrong!! I hear “if you want a drink you need to get in line!!” So, I left!! I don’t really need the savings that bad, if they know they create that type of demand, they should be prepared to take care of their customers. I went to pluckers, set at the bar, ordered a tall beer and ordered the all you can eat wings!! No wait, no fuzz, full belly and enjoyed Monday night football!! Not worth the hassle.

Solid strong "OK" local bar. It checks all basic local bar check boxes. Good like almost all Local directed bars in Austin The food is all C+ with A+ pricing. They think $24 for a Burger fries and a beer plus Tip is acceptable to the Locals of Deep South Austin. IDK I think major food pricing adjustments would drive so much more repeat business if One bar had the nerve to do it.

Terrible. You have to go to bar to order everything food and drinks. Bartenders very stern and short. We left after a beer. Can't say anything about the food.

This is a neat Hidden Gem. Clare and Misty were waiting on us, and they were AWESOME. We met a friend of ours there and had a couple of pitchers of beer and two country fried chicken sandwiches that were so huge we had to split one of them. This place is really cool. It has pool tables, shuffleboard dart boards, and pinball machines. Great place to hang out and chill. Very friendly and affordable. Our friend went back last night for 50 Cent Wing night. Highly recommend ?

Taco Tuesdays hit the spot. The big empty spot inside my belly. Crunchy tacos were really good, battered fries were very yummy, and the mozzarella sticks didn’t even have a chance to get cooled off. The place wasn’t packed, which was nice. Fair prices, and tall drinks.
