I’d been looking forward to trying this spot and really wanted to love it, especially since it’s quite a drive from where I live. The service was genuinely fantastic—our server was warm, attentive, and even offered water for my dogs, which I appreciated. The food came out quickly as well. In terms of flavor, everything was fine but more fusion-leaning than authentic. I’m Vietnamese and grew up eating traditional dishes, so my bar is pretty high. We ordered the corn, egg rolls, pho, and a grilled pork bánh mì. I ordered the “OG” bánh mì without veggies for my son and it ended up being just bread and pork belly—not exactly the classic version I expected, though I get that it’s their interpretation.
Overall, good service and speed but flavor was just average for me. Parking is limited as any location in downtown. Worth coming to try this restaurant out.

I love Saigon so much. I think about it all the time and crave it (especially the bahn mi) which is unfortunate bc my boyfriend lives so close. They have a full coconut on the menu which is fun and delicious. One time they did torch my meat on my vermicelli noodles bc it was fun and we were the only ones in there, but it kinda ended up tasting like butan. I still loved it. That’s how much I love it lol. The host and service ppl are always very nice as well! Curry ramen is a MUST - haven’t tried the pho though. Def the best bahn mi I’ve had in Austin. I never leave reviews but for the amount of space they take up in my brain they deserve it!

We ordered on Postmates and delivery was quick, but the prices were steep. While we were full after the meal, we weren't truly satisfied with the overall experience.
Wok Seared Lamb Bun ($18) + 2 Fried Eggrolls ($3): This was the most unique item on the menu--we hadn't seen lamb bun or banh mi at a Vietnamese spot before, so we had to try it. It ended up being the best of the three dishes we ordered. The noodles were slightly cold, but the lamb was flavorful and well-cooked. There was a nice variety of vegetables and a solid nuoc mam. The egg rolls were small and sliced in half lengthwise. They stayed a bit crispy and were decent, though not particularly memorable.
Grilled Pork Banh Mi ($12): The grilled pork was tasty but too salty, and the bread wasn't crispy or complementary to the ingredients. Overall, the banh mi lacked the quintessential Vietnamese flavors we expected.
Corn Ribs ($10): The entire corn rib was very soft. The flavors were good, but at $10, it didn't feel like a great value.

We tried their vermicelli with tofu and their banh mi, we were a little disappointed in both. They both tasted just alright, I'm a big fan of vermicelli and feel like this missed the mark.
For some reason the strawberry lemonade was half lemonade and half seltzer. We mixed it up really well and it tasted better than before. Service was great, our hostess was new but we could tell she was doing her best.
Overall I'm going to try a different place next time I'm craving some vermicelli.

Delicious Vietnamese food- shrimp spring roll was perfect. We had a tofu bun and that was delicious too. Nailed it- the fermented chili paste added a good kick.

I’ve been visiting this place for several years now, they consistently serve the food with high quality! The lamb banh mi and fried egg rolls, with homemade sauce were phenomenal. The service was fast as well. Highly recommended!

Tiny space, busy, need one more person working to make things run smoother, but maybe there isn't room.
I had the vermicelli noodles with shrimp and veggies added fried vietnamese egg rolls. Great flavors, shrimp was perfectly cooked and tender as can be, sauce was balanced sweet and sour, really tasty.
I was a little bummed that my Vietnamese coffee was pre-mixed. It's fun to mix in the sweetened condensed milk and try sips of the strong coffee by itself and also various strengths as you mix it.

Cute little lunch spot. If you're looking for a casual, intimate place to grab a good bite, this is a great go to. The food was yummy, and its kid friendly.
