Took dad here for father's day. Had a great time and the food was delicious. Our server Jack was good and attentive. It rained and it just added to the ambiance. Not crowded for a Sunday at 3pm.

Amazing place! Salt Traders Coastal Cooking always delivers — great food, great atmosphere, and consistently excellent every time we visit.

We eat here at least every other week. The food is fresh and always cooked well and the service is top notch. You can’t trust just anyone with seafood but you can trust Salt Traders.

My most recent dining experience was disappointing. I raved about this place to my friends but when I brought them here I left feeling embarrassed. The staff looked unhappy to be there. Not sure what the deal was with our server but I've had better service from IHOP. The food was only ok, not at all what I remember. The gentleman who brought our dessert was wonderful, he seemed like the only person who was happy to be there.

Posting this review late but I had to make sure it gets posted.

Salt Traders has been a favorite for a few years now, and they really hit the spot when I most recently visited with my other half.

We ordered a wide variety off the menu, ceviche, hushpuppies, Peruvian scallops half shell, lobster roll, scallops, coconut dessert and a handful more.

Everything was perfect and the Peruvian scallops were a major highlight of the evening.

We did have a hiccup during our dining time, management came out and apologized when there was no need and the amount of actual sincerity is something to be applauded for. We had no issue with the hiccup, but we knew Salt Traders takes pride in what they do and anything less than perfect is unacceptable.

Wonderful atmosphere, management, serving, food, and time.

Thank you for helping create a long lasting memory for my partner and I.

Keep doing what you’re doing!

Dietary restrictions: Mention you are gluten free if you need it, very accommodating.

Tyler at Salt Traders is the best! His friendly and fun demeanor and helpful recommendations were top-notch.
The food is consistently delicious, especially the birria fish tacos and the potstickers. The atmosphere is chill and the service is great. Highly recommend!

I come here often. Today's experience was just as fantastic as ever. Every item was on point. Happy hour specials were economical, and all the items (happy hour or not) were simply delicious. always check their oyster selection and make sure you partake. The fish birria at tacos are an experience that shouldn't be missed. Finally, Tyler service really tied it all together( see what I did there?). Seriously, though Tyler is a fantastic server who is able to read our table well, make great recommendations, manager expectations, and bonus points for adaptable humor. Would give more stars if possible. Thanks!

Order the special, get fresh oysters, and commune at the bar with cool people. Do it.

Dietary restrictions: I enjoyed everything grain-free and with no seed oil (the Hamachi collar went into soy oil a less inflammatory oil than canola.) Fresh oysters were incredible. Cocktail sauce may have corn syrup. Mignonette is where it's at, oh ask for the house-made hot sauce!

Some of the worse food I've had in Austin. Slow service on a slow night.
