After our favorite go to taco spot was randomly closed one day, I googled breakfast tacos and Saxx’s was the first choice that popped up! It was only about 5 minutes from my house so I went ahead and gave them a shot.
I called and a gentleman answered the phone with a warm greeting. I ordered a chorizo, egg & cheese, bacon egg & cheese, and one bacon egg. I really wanted to try their brisket egg and cheese but unfortunately he said their smoker was out of commission. I also tried ordering beans but he only had black beans. It was all good but definitely want to go back and try those next!
When you arrive, you will ring the bell and the one man show will come greet you. He will hand you a ticket with the total which you’ll then take to the cashier to pay. I followed his instructions and came back with my receipt. He had everything bagged and labeled!! I knew which taco was which as he labeled them. It’s the small things like that that go a long way with me! The salsas were in baggies which that’s how you know they’re going to be good and the green salsa definitely did not disappoint! I thought salsa was perfect but hubby did say it was on the spicy side.
The tortillas look handmade. I really like how he doesn’t scramble the egg to where it’s all yellow. You can see both white and yellow in the tacos. Almost like he cooks them over medium well. The bacon was perfectly cooked and you can see the whole strip in the taco. I don’t really like when other places chop it up and you barely get a quarter of a strip with each taco. Proportions were just right! The chorizo was dark but so delicious! I would say it’s authentic chorizo. I will definitely be back! Hopefully they’ll have the brisket next time because I cannot wait to try that!

The taco stand was sold out of most things by the time I got there, and I totally see why; the food is fantastic! This was my first time eating food prepared in a gas station and I'll admit I was a bit nervous, but this is a legit restaurant with super fresh food. The chef was so kind and accomadating, he even gave us extra fries! Only downside is the seating area is in the gas station so it's a bit crummy, but just get it to-go and you won't regret it!

I was referred to this business by a person saying he only uses fresh ingredients and cooks to order. Dropped by to try the breakfast tacos and I immediately was greeted by the owner with amazing hospitality and customer service. He uses homemade tortillas, the tacos were stuffed and well seasoned. He also delivered my order out to my car, well worth the wait. I definitely will be a repeat customer.

Love the food, I've eaten here several times and will continue to. The food is made fresh when you order and the owner breaks down the items on the menu in case you need to substitute for dietary restrictions. Love the food and its always fresh, genuine service and since its in the corner store I can always grab other provisions lol

This man knows soul and passion and you can taste that in every bite. The man uses his OWN GARDEN for ingredients!!!! Get out of here!!! And go to Saxx's Tacos already, again, one more time!

We saw all the 5 star reviews and place wasn't even a 1 star my double cheese burger was on regular bread frys tasted like old cooking oil surf and turf taco didn't have any steak. The ground beef taco is just a burger cooked then cut up. Potatoes where burnt. This restaurant is located inside a gas station. Some gas station spots are fire, just not this one. He was also out of alot of items. Sorry but don't go to this spot. Plenty better spot. But on a good note he did give us one of our means free.
