Seven Grand is my favorite bar in Austin. If you’re a lover of whiskey, pool, or cocktails, you’re in luck. And if you’re not, you’re bound to have a good time anyway. They have a full liquor selection. The bartenders are spirit encyclopedias and are versed in classic and modern cocktails. If cocktails aren’t your thing, they also have a wide selection of draft and packaged beers.

Fantastic bar to visit if your in the downtown Austin area. Lots of other competition nearby, but this bar stands out due to its size and also serving cigars. Bar is very spacious, divided into 3 parts: the main bar area, second small bar area & and outdoor patio to smoke your cigars. The main bar is large and also has pool tables and an arcade spot. I decided to trust the name and ordered cocktails that the menu recommended. It lists seven that the house recommends and another 7 that are classic cocktails recipes. I would suggest the former as the servers were able to produce high quality and tasty cocktails. Though the later were also great in comparison. Not only that, the prices were also cheaper than I thought. In lots of other places, cocktails tend to be $18-20+. But not in Seven Grand, the highest one was $14. Great place to bring groups to have a fun night of drinking.

I recently hosted a large dating mixer at Seven Grande, and the attendees loved the ambiance and setting at Seven Grande. They enjoyed visiting different bar concepts at Seven Grande and immersing themselves with each distinctive experience. The bouncers and bartenders were also all very kind to the attendees. I would most definitely come back as an individual, as well as bring my group back again if I can.

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ Decent Spot, But Could Be Better Seven Grand Bar has a nice atmosphere and a solid drink selection, but my experience was just okay overall. The service felt a bit inconsistent, and it didn’t quite live up to expectations. It’s a good place to stop by for a drink, but there’s definitely room for improvement. Hopefully, my next visit will be better.
Mainly, adding unsuccessful mixer night's comes out as basically a cover charge of $50 for a place of mediocre atmosphere, which mind you -can still be valued.
