I never miss out on this spot while traveling to Austin. The music, what can I say, amazing! The bartenders are always welcoming, and the service is really fast. Also, you can always go to the top for some dj with a dance floor, some arcades and pool, what else can you ask for?

Great atmosphere where the musicians are doing their thang. Don’t come here if you like overpriced drinks and stale air…but definitely come if you want to hear the heart of Austin pouring their talent out onto the stage. Can’t say enough about the talent I have witnessed on this old wooden stage. Keep ‘em’ coming:

I left my wallet behind last Friday.
How can I speak to someone about this? The phone number listed on Google seems to be disconnected!

It was a whole vibe! Pretty packed for 4th of July but the vibes were there. It was rock night! Music was A1, met some cool people, friendly environment and good drinks! Will come back when in town 🙂‍↔️

The place is big, but was empty. I’m sure it’s a Sunday thing; as locals get ready for the workweek and it’s just a bunch of visitors.

Bartender was too busy talking to her friends to care. Stand up was comedy wasn’t so funny.

Overall felt like a frat party than a place of business. 3 star over two, because of the drink.

If you're planning to go to an open comedy mic here, think of going somewhere else. The guy running the open mic a few nights ago had a sign up last, my friends got there over 1.5 hours before the open mic started to sign up. They were some of the first to sign up and never got called up. They host kept letting his friends go up beforehand and lied about when my friends would get their chance. If you want to run the mic that way, then fine, but don't call it an open mic.

Worst restroom I’ve ever been in. No doors on the toilet stalls. No seats on the toilet. And no toilet paper.

Don’t know why KillTony sign ups moved from pour choices. That was a poor choice.

The water from both the taps and inside the Gatorade containers tastes like mold and when I told them to clean the bins they just told me they would. Same thing when brought to the bartenders awareness just flinched and said ok. I realize poisoning people is profitable, this is also dangerous to all those at the scene. Do better, Shakespeare's.

Good doorman, we went inside and got a table across from the bar. No service, no problem so i stand at the bar.

Still no service, so we sit at the bar. 7:30pm so there's only five of us at the bar. Two bartenders, look them both in the eyes and they look away, one watching Spiderman on tv and the other chatting with kitchen staff.
Five minutes of this and we leave, go spend $150 two doors down.

Ye olde Shakespeare's staff deserve to be replaced by robots.
