This is the best Chinese food I’ve had in Austin. Made fresh with lots of flavor. Big, luscious shrimp dishes. Excellent cookery.
Dim sum portions are good size. Service was very good.
Great food and good people! We always have the best experience at Shanghai and the dim
Sum is the best in town!! Great for family dinners or just a meal with your partner . It never misses . If I could give it six stars I would

I was very thirsty when I arrived so I asked for some water. A few minutes later a white couple entered the restaurant and the server forgot all about me. I was miffed but I put it down to her being servile. Another fifteen minutes and I eventually got some water and had my rather dry and tasteless meal. Upon checkout it turned out she had added a nice tip to the bill because the amount on the bill did not match the price of what I had ordered. I literally had 3 minutes to get to my movie, so I let is ride.

Three of us ate lunch here on Tuesday and brought a group of 16 back on Sunday night to celebrate a screening at The Austin Film Festival next door. Both meals were excellent. Cool servers. They kept the restaurant open late for our Sunday late dinner.

This place is a hidden gem! As a Cantonese Chinese American, I am so glad to have another dimsum place that isn't crowded or have long waits. They don't have carts but it was easy to order from their wide menu. Their rice rolls were perfectly chewy and shiny and the ingredients were fresh. We also enjoyed the fried and steamed dimsum as well. I was very surprised we were the second table at 11:30am on a Sunday but the place quickly started filling up after noon.

I’ve eaten here twice now and I absolutely love the food; I highly recommend. My favorite food to order is their wonton soup, general Tso’s chicken, beef fried rice and beef and broccoli.
If they only they delivered through DoorDash or Grubhub, I would order frequently.

Popped in on Wednesday evening for a lil DimSum. We were not disappointed, all the dishes were hot and delicious. Not a high end restaurant like most downtown spots, but food and service adequately makeup for any shortcomings.

I’m not a fan of having to order on the phone but it is what it is. Be careful tho, they say the tip is already included but when you go to check out you must enter in something in the tip section to be able to order.
Food came out really quick but probably because we were the only ones in the restaurant. Dim sum was good. Peking duck was decent. The sauce for the Chinese broccoli was way too salty.
Absolutely love this place!!
This was a great all-day dim sum restaurant! It was pretty empty when we visited on a Monday evening, but the food was fantastic and the service was great too. We particularly liked their xiao long bao, pork potstickers, hot & sour soup, and ma po tofu. The atmosphere is a bit nicer than a typical dim sum restaurant. I am visiting from out of town, but if I lived here my family and I would definitely be regulars.
