Definitely Top Tier in the flavor department. The service is always good the food is always fresh and hits every mark. They have a decent number of different sides to choose from.

My ONLY SUGGESTION/Wish.. if yall can add Waffles and/or fried rice! I think those two options would only increase the income and clientele. When I eat a piece of chicken from here I immediately want some fried rice to go with it..
Hope the right person sees this, but overall my favorite place to get some quality food.

I come here to get lunch. It's close to the job site, and the food is prepared within ten to fifteen minutes. I get their catfish and shrimp lunch special each time, and each time, it is fantastic. I've started calling ahead to reduce waiting at the restaurant, and that allows me to return to work on time. I told my coworkers about the place, and now they're ordering from there as well.

Im from out of town here visiting family and decided to stop by to try sharks fish and chicken. The catfish was really good and seasoned well. The shrimp was mid. Fried okra was bomb. Overall id say for the price its worth it! Only downside is a lot of homeless hang out near the restaurant waiting on you to leave. Other than that this place is a 8/10 !

Okay so look. This spot is off of airport, it ain’t somewhere nice to dine in or where you’d even feel comfortable staying any longer than it takes for them to cook your food. Not even talking about the establishment itself but because let’s be honest, the crackheads be BUSY in this area. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way and called a spade a spade, this place is FIREEEEEE!! The seasoning that they use is ridiculous you’d think somebody’s granny is back there whippin’. They fish is the best in the city and honestly rivals ALOT of spots in Nola for best fish… the chicken was good, crispy seasoned and juicy not dry. The corn nuggets were mid but they did the dang thing with the Okra. I didn’t really care for the fries. The jumbo shrimp wasn’t really jumbo but it was sooooo good and fresh and juicy. Banana pudding was good too.

Best fried food in the city in my opinion. If you wanna throw down like you’re at granny’s, you really posed to go to the hood spots anyway. 10/10.

I've ordered from this restaurant many times via DoorDash and recently through GrubHub. Unfortunately, the quality has declined sometime between February and May. In a previous order, I paid $5 for hush puppies and received THREE hush puppy pieces, but this most recent order was the most disappointing. When ordering through DoorDash, I always received at least one hot sauce without having to request it. However, with my recent GrubHub order, I requested extra hot and a mild sauce, which might have incurred extra charges due to special instructions(This is what the app states). Despite this, my request was completely ignored, with no sauce included with my three pieces of fish. Because the recipe likely changed, the fish was bland, and that is why I requested the extra sauce. Unfortunately, I threw away majority of the food because of the lack of seasoning and sauce, wasting about $26.

In terms of taste, the food no longer resembles what Sharks Fish and Chicken in Chicago offers, a change that also started after February. This is particularly disappointing because I had recommended this place to many friends and family from Chicago, as this place initially reminded me of home. The only upside is that the fish is always fried perfectly.

Additionally, the management's responses to negative reviews are extremely unprofessional, which likely contributes to the declining quality. One reviewer even found a fly in their food, which the restaurant denied, but multiple other reviews noted that the inside of the restaurant has a lot of flies. It's evident that both the food and staff quality have diminished.
