I went to this location today and bought some donuts and an old fashioned cinnamon roll. Nothing was fresh. The donuts and the roll were cold and had obviously been refrigerated. The cinnamon roll was fine after I microwaved it. Not ideal. The donuts were just gross. I think refrigerating them made the grease sink into the donut and it was soggy on the outside. If I am subjecting myself to unhealthy foods I want them to be good. Every person in my family spit out their first bite of donut.

Overall I've never been a donut person myself over the last decade or so and not even a fan of Shipley's in particular, but I will admit I enjoy cake Donuts a lot more than I used to considering I try to watch my sugar intake. With their plain cake donut, their buttermilk cake donut and their blueberry cake donut, none of them iced that is, being around a little over a hundred calories per donut and 7 g of sugar is quite fantastic

I was reading reviews and I rarely give these but after reading Will H's review from 9 months ago I had to. I go to Shipley's EVERY day for my morning donut and coffee fix. Been going there almost since it opened. The owners are an amazing , wonderful family who put their all into their business. They are compassionate, caring, customer orientated business owners. If I am remembering the name right Will H. is a disgruntled, ex employee who was as lazy as it gets. Drama filled and it took everything I had to even say hi to him. Hence his score of 1 on his review, when this is a totally friendly, family place. Don't think I am serious, come meet me every morning sometime between 8-9 am. Obviously I was very hacked when I saw this and I am going really? My fav bumper sticker, "Mean people suck". Thanks for reading, just trying to right a very bad wrong. Mark T.

I work at a Dunkin' donuts and after eating Donuts from here and just peaking into the kitchen I think I will be quitting my job and only eating Donuts from here from now on. It's so much more cleaner and the products are obviously made here and not frozen. Much healthier and much more sanitary I feel safe eating food from here and it's so delicious it really shows in the flavor.
Light, fluffy perfection! Glazed donuts were melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the chocolate-filled surprised me with its rich flavor. Must-try for any donut fan!

This is my neighborhood doughnut shop, and they're consistently good and have good prices. They have a drive through, helpful staff, and make their doughnuts fresh every day.

Their kolaches are a fav in our house but we ordered kolaches and doughnuts with a house full of guests in town for ACL, and they left out the doughnuts. You can't leave out the doughnuts and make the delivery and say nothing about it. We still tipped the uber driver because it probably isn't her fault. Who knows. Maybe she is enjoying them with her kids. I'm betting not. But I do know that when you tell a bunch of teenagers that doughnuts are on the way, they are not happy to hear that it's only sausage kolaches. Now somebody else had to go. And we wouldn't have shelled out $75 for all kolaches. No doughnuts. The partial refund was ok. But it really throws a wrench in the day. Not a tragedy. Not a huge issue but a doughnut shop has one job. You provide the doughnuts. Or at least tell a person that the order will not be complete.
