Extremely disappointed. I have been going to Shipley’s for over 60 years. How do you not have fresh hot glazed donuts at 6am? The donuts were like the end of the day donuts. I have looked at the reviews for this location and they seem to be on a downward spiral. When I called they said I had the wrong location. No I did not it’s only 5 minutes from my house. But it was a good try. Definitely not keeping up with the Shipley family tradition.

Asked for hot glaze, they didn’t have them (9:30 am) got “bold” kolaches both were hard … when I went back they also showed me cheese that you can barely see.I was given two other smaller fresher kolaches. Maybe earlier in the day is better - I’ll likely try another location or check order before leaving.PREVIOUS 4 STAR REVIEWWent in and out for a quick trip, the staff is helpful and friendly.Ask for "hot glaze" when you drop by, they are so soft and fresh... you can't taste the sugar/glaze in your donut.Great for a quick stop or picking up for the team.Will be coming back to this location for sure.

Just moved back to Austin and they were recommended and I am very impressed. Delicious and soft donuts even when cold. The tenderness is shocking. Love them.

Always quick easy and affordable.Constructive criticism for Shipley in general;They have to do something different independent coffee chains make each chain unique; their design needs to be different at every location.There layout needs to be consistently different.The chair need to be comfy, make this the college students area to study. Market to studying college kids.They need to start doing coffee relevant to summer moons coffee (don't copy) but make coffee bigger at Shipley.sell, oat milk, almond milk, with other milks.There could be a world without Shipley or their could be a world were Shipley plays with the bigger candidates. Like Dunkin' and Starbucks but as there own wrap like individual smaller coffee companies. A big ass donut like the one in iron man needs to be on every building.

First let me start by saying I am and have loved Shipley donuts me entire life. However todays experience goes so far beyond any level of acceptable behavior that I'm honestly shocked. Not sure if he's the owner or a manager but I've never seen a grown man have a hissy fit and throw donuts around the store. Everyone has bad days. But his actions were beyond the pale and I will not ever return to that location.
This location isn't as good as other locations like Anderson Mill, or East Anderson locations! I like jelly filled donuts, and they lack the filling! I have gone too this location 3 times! Each time I've been dissatisfied!

The donuts are fine, but nothing to write home about. The cream filling is . . . unique. It's kind of slimy and drippy compared to other donut shops.The two of us went today for breakfast, and the cost was $25 for 5 donuts, 2 kolaches, a medium coffee, and a small bottled Starbucks frappuccino plus tip. Some of our lunches aren't even that expensive!Due to the cost, I think we'll go to another donut shop in the future, where a comparative purchase costs closer to $15.EDIT: Does anyone else think the response I got from the owner sounds like it was written by AI.

Tried the TooGoodToGo app and Shipley Do-Nuts came up! First time trying them and they were delicious! I would definitely recommend!
