I had no idea what I was getting myself into. It was messy, delicious, literally finger licking... It was so good I saved half my wrap to share with the FAM so they could see for themselves. I'll definitely be back!! Thank you for sharing your talents!!

I'm originally from Queens, NY and I know what good Indo-Caribbean food taste like. This is the best Indo- Caribbean cuisine in Austin. This is the closest in taste to our IndoGuyanese cuisine. I've been in search of finding Indo-Caribbean food that is close to what I'm used to getting in New York and this is equivalent to it!. Love the roti and all the food in general..hoping they can open a restaurant in Austin. We would buy often. This is the closest that you will get similarities to Guyanese cuisine in Austin. 🇬🇾🇹🇹one love❤️
Friendly service! Great food with authentic & unique trini flavors. First time having Trini (love Jamaican) and the flavors were def unique. Will go back!!

Ordered through Postmates and chose the curry chicken plate with the roti and channa and aloo. Through Postmates the plate is $18.50 with $5 extra for the roti. I purposely ordered the plate knowing the chicken has bones and I wanted the buss up shut to eat in individual bites. Instead they put it in a wrap, which is a menu item with the chicken curry channa and aloo and only $16.50. If you've ever had roti you know that it easily falls apart and soaks up the curried channa and aloo. I paid $7 extra to have it separated for them to put it in a wrap. My chicken was mostly bones which was disappointing and the roti soaked up all the channa and aloo which I was trying to avoid. They did reach out through Postmates to say they were out of sorrel which was great because a lot of food places won't let you know. Overall the flavor was good and it brought back so many memories from living in Trinidad. Hoping next time they aloo pies available and sorrel and that the chicken will have less bones.

Have had their chicken curry roti wrap and their aloo pies. Everything was freshly made and delicious. Trinidadian food is an awesome combo of flavors and Shirley’s is bringing that to Austin. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. Takes a little time because everything is made to order so have a little patience and then enjoy the flavors of the West Indies.

Granny Shirley’s catered our Mehndi night event and did a fabulous job. All of our guests adored their doubles and were impressed by their excellent service. They packaged up all of our leftovers and left everyone full and happy! I would recommend anyone choose them for their event. And if you get a chance, stop by their food truck as soon as possible!

The good is that their roti is pretty good for Austin. I think it’s as authentic as you will get in this area.
The bad is their jerk chicken. It’s not jerk chicken at all. If you want anything close to jerk chicken in Austin, I would recommend you go to any Jamaican truck or restaurant. This is not it unfortunately.

They upcharged me on uber eats after I had already confirmed my order, they scammed me basically through a loophole in the system, horrible place, my overpriced meal went from $25.50 to $32.00

Busy food truck. I was searching for doubles and went there on Saturday to get it. Was awesome. Once you order, they have a nice air conditioned area where you can wait / dine. They also have restrooms in the dining area.

Shirley’s Trini cuisine was exactly what I needed today. The food was great and everyone was accommodating. I got the stew chicken plate with roti (do not forget the roti!) and doubles. Everything was made fresh. Highly recommend!

Disappointed. As a Trinidadian, I was looking forward to this place as it’s the only Trini food in Austin but our food had no flavor at allllll. Terrible attitude and customer service. Expensive for the quality and for what it was.
