Service was great although the food was a bit chewy. Didn't seem very fresh.
We went to celebrate my sons birthday, the food was excellent, the service great and the restaurant is cozy we ordered the spicy pork belly(which you cook on an electric grillinstalled in the table) the owner was nice enough to ensure we were cooking the meat properly and even provided more pork belly when our original serving was almost gone,a very nice, thoughtful gesture on her part!the atmosphere and ambiance is cozy,we go here annually for my sons birthday for the last 4 years and have never had a bad experience. I highly recommend this establishment and look forward to our next visit!
The food was great, the service was slow but good.
Good service and excellent food .
Everyone was supremely nice and the sushi was very quality. Now that I know this place is here, I'll probably be back a lot more! I really hope more people discover this place
A pretty solid place for sushi on the south side. The usual selection of greatest hits adorne the menu. A little on the pricey side for what it is though. I'm more of a DK Sushi guy but I would recommend giving this place a shot. The staff is pretty great as well.
Delicious Japanese style Korean bbq. Extremely friendly staff. :D
My favorite sushi place. Locally owned with fresh ingredients.
Fantastic sushi place that we are so lucky to have tucked away here on the South side. You might not notice it at first from the street but this is, without doubt, the best sushi place on this side of town.
I've been back several times since my original review and had more vegetarian sushi. I just happened to order the worst rolls on the vegetable menu on the same night, but the rest of them are EXCELLENT and all my omnivore friends I take here rave about the fish. Skip the tofu and "vegetable" roll, do get literally anything else.

I loved this place. I sat at the bar on a week night and had wonderful conversations with the owners. Most all of the Nigiri I had that night was amazing!
Staff is very friendly. It's definitely tucked away so you will need to look for it. Sushi was decent enough, but the prices were way too high for the quality of the food you get.
Friendly service and delicious rolls: Tuna Lover and Rainbow Roll shown in picture. Also tried the Oasis Roll . Miso soup and dumplings were a great start. I know we will be back
I feel like such an idiot. We live so close to this place, and have for years, and we haven't gone until tonight. Everything was so great, so delicious. They have a really good selection of creative and very tasty rolls. We will definitely be back, and I think we are done with the place on Brodie that we used to go to. I'm so satisfied and so happy we made it there tonight for a quick date night. Loved the food, atmosphere, and the people were so nice. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
Ate here with a few friends, the sushi is the best I've had in south austin. If you're on the fence give this place a try, the staff was great and the food was very high quality for the price. Will definitely be going back anytime I need my sushi fix. Amazing!
