Food was very average for the price. Main issue is their online ordering and google hours start at 9 but the kitchen didn’t open/arrive until after 10. We placed an order at 9:45 and waited over an hour. Service fees and tips from here seem unreasonable to wait over an hour for food and have them open an hour late.

Visiting from Dallas and stumbled onto Shortwave Diner truck. Tried the smash burger and Braut which were both delicious! Great area with other food trucks and coffee as well. Definitely will be back again.

I had the smash burger and it was easily one of the better burgers I’ve had. Love that fries were included too! Everything came out quickly and a good temp. The guy (brown hair + tattoos) that took my order was really friendly, even brought the food over to the table. 10/10 would recommend.

Unfortunately THE WORST burger (called the smash burger) I’ve ever had. The burger patties seem to have been boiled and were OVERLOADED with salt. I couldn’t tell if it was onion salt or garlic salt, or just plain salt. It takes a lot for me to complain and I can’t think of a time I’ve had a burger bad enough to complain about it. I’m wondering if they boil the burgers before hand and just heat them up at the time of order.

The chicken sandwich was fire! Massive piece of chicken + they combo-ed it with fries for the same price. The breading was flavorful. The fries were the perfect mix of soft and crispy with sea salt. Josh and the crew were also really friendly and accommodating. 10/10 will be going back.
