A wonderful surprise to stumble on this bar. We went to Lao’d Bar for dinner and this was next door. This is a very interesting and unique place full of old signs that they’ve somehow accumulated and put everywhere. They have a large outdoor space that I imagine is fun when the weather is nice. We’ll definitely be back.
We held a contractor networking happy hour event at Sign Bar and it was the perfect venue for purpose. Ashley ( coordinator), Bob (Lao'd Bar Owner & Caterer next door), Anna (on-site point of contact) were beyond accommodating, patient, kind and a pleasure to work with whilst planning this event. If you're looking for a great space for a casual/fun networking event, Sign Bar is an excellent space.
1/2026 A short drive from town east on MLK/969 will get you to this huge venue which has actual old signs from current and nostalgic businesses around Austin.
The large outdoor courtyard area features many themed display areas, and you're welcome to move the seating around to suit your party.
