Simar Seafood & Steak

I was taken back at how good the food was, even if it was a small amount. They greet you with a small lobster soup that is well spiced, but not overbearing, preparing you for a seafood experience. I only ordered the ceviche and it was great.

Great food and service!! We ordered a Fish Ceviche with Octopus (not in the Menu) and it was awesome!

Reservations were for 7:30 when we arrived there was plenty of open seating inside, it was cold and raining outside. They tried to seat us outside. I told them we did not want sit outside they then seated us inside. We ordered food, appetizer and drinks. Food took over 2hrs to arrive. This was our first time going to this restaurant so we were unsure of the menu. So we asked a lot of questions I explained to the waitress that I wanted a cooked shrimp or fish meal she recommended something with mahi mahi in it, it came out frozen. Then I told her, that I had explained to her that I wanted a hot meal not a cold one. She then apologized and said she misunderstood me and recommended some shrimp meal that came in a glass with tomatoes etc.... while waiting i ordered a jack and coke 30 minutes passed and i still didnt get my drink, i had to remind her and she said they forgot. Then brought me a crown and coke and said, this all we have is this ok? When the shrimp finally came it was also not a hot meal she apologized and said it was the fastest meal they could make, again not what i wanted. At this point we asked for to go plates paid and left. Terrible experience

Reservation was at 7 which we got seated for. server was great, Young gentleman whom was polite and friendly but lacked multitasking and follow ups. We waited 30/35 mins for our drinks to arrive and around 50 mins for our appetizers to come. I tried to not it bother me since it was Valentine's Day but he did not take our food order until 1hr and 15 mins. Server was struggling with managing his 5 tables plus the kitchen seemed to struggle. Food arrived at 9pm, the resultant closes at 9.. we made it that far so we decided to dive in but my lady ordered ceviche which is served in a shape of a sphere. The outfit was frozen and the inside was still raw. The food quality was upsetting and especially for it to take that long and still miss. Spoke with the manager and he made it right for us and we made sure to emphasize that our server was a great guy. We'll be back to give it another shot on a not so busy day

I had the grilled octopus and it was yummy. Wife had the paella. It was good though the chicken in it was dry and tough. Their salsa with their tortillas to start were good. Dated finishes inside. Mariano our server was excellent. On top of everything listens well

Simar is a perfect place if you are a seafood lover. My boyfriend and I have been there for dinner in more than four occasions now, and never been disappointed, every dish we ordered is very delicious. Specially the whole red snapper fish, you can have it fried or bbq. I also recommended the octopus. You will enjoy the freshness of the seafood and the exquisite cocktails, and margaritas prepared by the profesional bar tender Isabela. We love this place.

Underrated, Very good seafood and great service! Compared to seareinas or these other overpriced seafood restaurants way better and not to pricey!.

This place is absolutely amazing! The soup starter caught our attention first. The service from Mariano was impeccable, and the options and quality of both the food and drinks are spectacular. I would give it a 10 out of 10!

First time customer, seated our large party fairly fast. Drinks from the bar were delicious and the food was very good. Wait staff were friendly and helpful with our menu questions. Will definitely return soon! Thank you!
