I go to a weekly meeting at Simar. The food and service are excellent. It is a little loud, but this is only a slight problem.

Bad service, expensive, not worth it. No options for restrictive diets either.Dietary restrictions: No dairy free options, no matter what you try to customize, they will still prepare plates their own way

The food was absolutely delicious! Loved the appetizers and the paella was one of the best I have ever had. The waiter Carlos was so courteous and attentive. I live 3 hours from Austin but will be coming here on my next visit.

Me, my niece, and my great nephew had dinner there this evening. We shared an appetizer (ahi on guac) and a meal (Coconut, shrimp, Steak, Rice and veggies) and and got a kids meal. Everything was amazing!

Very helpful staff. The food was well done and flavorful. The ceviche was outstanding. The red snapper filets were pretty thick. The restaurant has a nice decor and there is plenty of room between the tables. It was a good choice and we'll be back.

Vegetarian in a seafood restaurant! Went with colleagues. Ordered 4 veggies sides. They all came arranged on a big plate. Was very tasty.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie sides. They also make Chile relleno without the shrimp.

While the restaurant is experiencing worker shortages, as are most establishments, Carlos was making his best effort to keep the service going, as was his kitchen staff. The place is very nice and clean. The drinks were bueno! The food was bueno,also.. The chef could scale back the fry time by a minute or two, but it was still very good. I had the whole fried fish???.Black beans and rice were also good.Overall, worth the trip over for a late lunch!Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids!Wheelchair accessibility: ?

Ordered delivery from this place. The snapper had a weird taste and the mahi had no flavor. Also ordered shrimp cocktail and there was about 6 of them in a soupy watery sauce. For the way they price their menu I expected so much more. What a waste.EDIT: if you look through their 5 star reviews they’re very nonspecific and feels as if they are bot/AI reviews. Beware.
