Their Khao Soi (coconut curry noodle soup) struck just the right balance of creamy and spicy, and the Pad Kee Mao had a bold, fragrant punch with fresh basil and chiles. The Thai iced tea was smooth, not overly sweet — perfect alongside the heat.
The space is cozy and relaxed, and the staff were warm and patient when I asked about spice levels and dish recommendations. Portions were generous and the ingredients tasted fresh. Definitely a spot I’ll be back to when I’m craving quality Thai food.

I’ve been enjoying Thai food for years and have been introduced to a wide range of authentic dishes by close Asian friends. So when I saw a dish called Kra Pow On Fire listed on this restaurant’s Google menu, I was genuinely excited to try it.
I tried calling several times to place the order, but no one picked up. I then ordered online, where I only found a similar-sounding dish called Pad Kra Pow. I’ve had Pad Kra Pow many times before — it usually comes with ground meat, herbs, rice, and a fried egg. I assumed Kra Pow On Fire was just a spicier variation of this, renamed on their online system.
What arrived was completely different — chunks of meat, no egg, and clearly not what I had in mind. When I called to explain the issue, I was shocked by how rude the staff were. Rather than listening or acknowledging the confusion (caused in part by their own menu setup), they immediately placed the blame on me and claimed that “all their customers know the difference.” That kind of attitude is completely unacceptable — especially considering I spent over $60 on this order.
Restaurants should take responsibility when there’s a clear miscommunication stemming from their own system, not belittle the customer for it. For $60, I expected better food and basic respect.
There are plenty of Thai spots that serve great food with great service. This one is neither. Save your money.

I ordered chicken massaman curry with a spice level of 5 and the dish is very good. Spicy enough to add heat but I can enjoy the food. I will crave this dish and, unfortunately, I will be hundreds of miles away and not able to pick up another order. The restaurant is an easy 12 minute walk from the Menger Hotel.

We ordered takeout at the front counter. The waitress was rather rude and condescending, not at all hospitable like one would (and should) expect when in the South. The food was bland and tasteless compared to other authentic Thai restaurants we’ve eaten at. We were really disappointed. Will NOT be returning.

The food came QUICK, about 10 minutes wait after ordering and my server was very nice and checked back a few times.
For this price, the quality of this Pad Thai was seriously lacking in my opinion. The beef in particular tasted like it was just cooked straight from raw - no marinade - and if they do marinate the meat it’s not very good. Tasted like pieces of plain meat cooked with Pad Thai sauce/seasoning. It’s the most I’ve ever paid for Pad Thai and it was very mediocre and underwhelming.
Would probably not go back to try anything else if this is the quality standard and price of the most cliche and basic Thai dish.
The food here is so flavorful! It’s hard to find a good Thai spot in town that will actually make your food spicy, so I appreciate this spot. My go to is the Yellow Curry.
