Update:We've returned back to the office and I've been hoping to find a usual spot given that several locations have closed or changed their hours since the pandemic. I chose to revisit Slake. I went for lunch by myself, then another day with a coworker, and another day with another coworker, and yet again by myself within a 2 week period. Cute exterior and great location downtown but the brunch I ordered had no flavor. I ordered the typical breakfast of eggs, bacon, biscuit and potatoes with a side of Mac and cheese and unfortunately, everything was flavorless as if I needed to dump salt on everything just to taste something. Maybe it was a fluke but it wasn’t the best eating experience overall
