Vietnamese BBQ roadhouse on Lamar. I'm vegan and love the tempeh sliders. Really enjoy the events they put on, like the blues jam and swing dancing.

I recently moved into the area a few months ago and found this place not to far from my house. They do trivia every Thursday and it has become our households biweekly activity. I absolutely enjoy the atmosphere and how delicious all of their food is. The view tex martini is my number one order and well worth the price. I am looking forward to their new menu coming out in a few days and hope they don't get rid of the viet tex martini.

I was looking forward to Smokin' Beauty so much. It's a fantastic concept which I was elated to try out because I had a BBQ Brisket banh mi before that blew my mind so much. I wish BBQ places would offer banh mi's, but here we go onto Smokin' Beauty as someone that loves to eat BBQ and especially banh mi. We got their spinach dip and my friend absolutely loved that part. It was her favorite part of the meal. I thought it was just fine. As for the banh mi, I ordered a brisket and although I'm not quite sure if that's what I got, I can tell you that it was not nearly as good as I was expecting. In fact, I'd rather just get normal banh mi's. Creamy cilantro sounds so darn good but it didn't add as much as I expected. Maybe because these sandwiches already have cilantro. But the meat, whether it was brisket or not, just didn't do it for us. It was just alright. Maybe it was the bread too? But something about this banh mi just wasn't nearly as good as my expectations. Anyway, Smokin' Beauty's owners are changing this place to a pub after January 1st, so if you wanna try this place out for yourself, go NOW. You might love it and get that brisket banh mi temptation like I have!

MUST TRY!! Smokin Beauty is far and above the most underrated barbecue spot in Austin. The quality is absolutely incredible, portion sizes are massive. Not only is it the most flavorful meat in the city but it's the best bang for your buck. You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't come here. Make the right choice tonight.

Delicious food here! I love barbecue and I love Vietnamese food, makes perfect sense to combine the two. The brisket is super tender and the pork belly is nice and fatty. It goes really well in the banh miss, since there all those pickled vegetables that really lighten up the greasiness of the meat. The serving sizes are also really good, not too big that you can't finish your meal in one sitting, but big enough to get you FULL. I tried to play ultimate frisbee after lunch and it was kind of difficult because of how stuffed I was. (Not a bad thing!!)

We found this place by accident, we were hungry after a hike in a park nearby and saw this bbq joint on Google maps.The place is great, they have really tasty food. We were happily surprised for this fusion barbeque style. We loved the brisket banh mi, the pork belly, even the salad was great!The tables are communal, and there was plenty of space when we visited. To our surprise, there was a band playing amazing music, which made the stay even better.Can't wait to go back for brunch!

Delicious! And great service. Chief forgot to place pork belly on our burgers (which were so good didn't even realize it was missing!) So bought it out as side! Excellent service, great place to grab lunch. Highly recommend!
