Farther's Day weekend, we attended a wedding in Austin TX. While leaving, we noticed a Snooze breakfast restaurant. We decided to have breakfast there. It was crowded. There was a 35 minute wait. So we looked up another location at 1700 S.Lamar. We down loaded the app and made reservations. We were 11th on the list. It was about a 25 minute drive. When we arrived, we were told we were now #3 on the list. The hosts had us to wait in the corner. I looked around and noticed we were the only minorities. This included employees and customers. No big deal. That's happened before. After 10 minutes, we are now #1. We noticed a family come and spoke to the hostess. They were lead to a table and seated. A few minutes later, another family comes in and spoke to the same hostess. They were lead to a table and seated. Again a family came in, spoke to the same hostess. They were also lead to a table and seated. I went and spoke to the hostess. I said we've been #1 for over 10 minutes and yet 3 families have come in and be seated. Her reply was, oh we had to regroup. I've eaten at many restaurants and never heard of regroup. I advised her to remove our name from the list and we left. I'm not mad or angry just disappointed. I'm sure that the people seated before us were probably regulars. But still, we went by the book and made reservations. Will NOT try to dine there again 😔

Honestly can say I was absolutely blown away by this location! Amazing food, great atmosphere and very friendly and funny server! I took out of state friends here when they were visiting and they were saying how much they wished a location like this was in Florida.

The only thing I will mention, we went on a Sunday late morning and it did take about 35 minutes to be seated with a reservation so be sure to plan on spending time here.

Parking: There is a paid parking garage directly across the street and if you are lucky you can find street parking in the immediate area, which is also paid.

You have to try their pork belly fried rice—it’s fantastic! Their pancakes are also excellent—soft, fluffy, and not too sweet.

Breakfast, I had a coffee and a croissant. Which was good. Dinner menu had a lot to be desired for. I got chips with salsa in guacamole. The trips were old and stale. The guacamole and salsa were bland and had no flavor

I eat here frequently. The place is usually crazy busy. I typically sit at the bar, the staff always seems a little distracted, but they're kind and friendly.

The biggest complaint I have is the cooks can't seem to make a fried egg with a runny yoke and solid whites. You either get runny whites or a solid yolk. This is typically the case at any Snooze I've ever been to.

Also, it would be nice if they're bacon and salads didn't have so much sugar in them.

Parking: There's street parking all over. It's usually hard to find at busy times. On Sundays the parking is free. Other than that you got to pay the meters.

There's a small parking garage attached, if you get a validated, it's free. If you don't get it validated, it's quite expensive.
