Every… Single… Time… I have ordered through the app for pickup the order seems to be processed but then no one brings it out when I check in. I have to press the button to get someone’s attention and it turns out my order has been sitting in a shelf or counter getting cold apparently because it is brought out immediately. Save your privacy and don’t sign up for the app for a few cents discount and even worse service.

I rarely stop at a Sonic, but my kiddo wanted an ice cream treat and a burger after the park this afternoon. I didn’t want to download an app for a sporadic visit this afternoon and I assumed you could still order at the drive up. We used the ‘button’ to place the order and nothing happened despite the equipment saying “we’ll be with you shortly.” This was at slot #11. We tried again, before moving to another spot with the same experience on the opposite side. Most of the other spots said out of order. I can’t imagine you can only purchase online, but we ended up spending our money elsewhere. Either the equipment doesn’t work or your instructions need to be clearer that you don’t service via the button.

Corporate gave them new (bad) software, and probably rolled it out too fast without training them. It was a mess, my order took almost an hour, but Gloria and everyone working was doing everything they could to make up for Sonic’s new shitty tech. Gloria and everyone who works there is great, and they deserve better

Could not get the app to work. Showed up and ordered and it cost twice as much. Unable to use card to pay had to send them curbside service back into the restaurant twice. Once to pay and once for condiments I had ordered
