Portion sizes are way too small for the price. Rice was grainy and naan was simultaneously burnt around the edges and soggy. The tika masala and salad sauces were decent but still, I will not be getting food here again

Coming here for lunch is always a treat. They have a lunch buffet that I enjoy. It had plenty of options for chicken, lamb, veggies and dessert. Plenty of seating when we arrived and we were able to get plenty to eat.

Chonk think Star of India buffet great. Decent food for decent price. Great service. Small ice chips in water was best. Dal and aloo and tikka masala was best also.

Until the food was served, the place looked and felt like a typical traditional style Indian restaurant, just a bit too quiet for the location- two tables served in the two hours we were there. After tasting the garlic naan, korma and biryanis, I could almost see the lazy kitchen staff didn’t even bother to center the reheat containers in the microwave - some bites were hot and some were lukewarm. Even the naan is rubbery and cold. For the price, using refrigerated biryani is inexcusable. This is definitely one of the worst on my list. A 30-yr establishment with no real cooking - at least no longer.
