I know it's hard to imagine being in a RIVE STAR Starbucks after Howard Schultz left the company. Well, one does exist. Believe it or not it's less than a block away from the University of Texas here in Austin. It's managed by Katie Davidson, maybe the BEST Starbucks manager you've never heard of. She has a magnificent staff who is knowledgeable about every product offered in the store (seasonal and perennial) It's a great place to get caught up on your studying. (As long as you aren't distracted by the beauty from all of the Kappa Alpha Thetans and Pi Beta Phi's)

Atmosphere is nice but they made my drink wrong. I get my drink very specific and it's just fine everywhere else. I asked them to remake it which they were irritable about but even after the remake it tasted like I put a pound of sugar in my mouth
I think they need to make sure they are making their sweet cream correctly because it's WAYY too sweet. The cold foam was the problem I believe
I just hate spending 8$ on a drink that I didnt enjoy :/

Friendly and helpful staff. We didn't know their spring break hours and got there 10 minutes before they were closing and our barista was still very helpful and didn't try to rush us. Tasty drinks.

Shout out to Courtney! This barista greeted me with a smile as I walked in the door -5 mins before close as she was the only employee behind the counter making espresso all while simultaneously ringing up on register! I can’t believe she still greeted me as I came thru the door while multi tasking. Overworked and still kind. On campus with rude kids and still amazing. What a generous & hardworking beautiful soul! I hope she can be recognized for her talent and hard work. Her genuine kindness really makes all the difference in this crazy world. Thank you Courtney, you are such a great person! & have the best curls!! Sending love & strength.

What has happened to Starbucks in Austin TX?! I'm relatively new to Austin and I'm still trying to figure out why all the Starbucks locations in and around the city of Austin Close at 5pm?!
So confusing for out of towers who come here. I watched 10 ppl walk into the patio and tug on the door after 5pm yesterday...
And speaking of the patio, it hasn't been washed for a very long time. The trees are growing up over the bar area that used to overlook campus. Stray cats live under the patio and a really big raccoon... I thought these animals were pretty cool but it's not ideal in the heart of a college town.
I also tried talking with Management about some of these things and was lied to and dismissed....SMH
No wonder the best baristas at this location are fighting to Unionize.... Management here is the worst I've seen in the country and it probably starts at the district level here in Austin.
There is definitely a theme with how these stores are run, in Austin and it's not a very positive one for customers or the environment....
Hey, but as long as the store is making money, who cares right?!
Not sure how or why Starbucks Corporate is letting this happen, but it's very disturbing as a long time customer, advocate, and investor in SBUX.....
