usually have decent experiences at Starbucks, but my visit today was truly disappointing. Not only was part of my order missing, but the response I received from the staff was unacceptable. Upon noticing a fly on the bread I was about to ordered, I brought it to the attention of an employee. Shockingly, his response was that it was “a sample” as if it were nothing out of the ordinary. This flippant disregard for basic food safety and customer service is not what I expect from a well-known brand like Starbucks. It’s safe to say that this visit has made me reconsider returning anytime soon. I hope they take feedback seriously and improve their standards to ensure this doesn’t happen to others.

Terrible customer service. I arrived for a mobile order and stood by the counter for several minutes with no one acknowledging me; workers visibly dodging interacting with customers. So I go through the cashier and say I’m here for an order to which he just told me to go back to the counter, didn’t ask about my order, name or anything. So I go back and wait more with no one acknowledging me. After several minutes someone finally screams out my name to tell me they can’t even make me the drink I had ordered as they don’t have it. So, at this point I learn I had been waiting for nothing as I saw them pass up my sticker which I knew was mine. This coulda easily been resolved sooner if the barista woulda asked my name at the counter, or if the barista would communicate this to the cashier and say; “hey if this guy comes ask him if we can make him something else, we don’t got it,” or if the cashier woulda said “hey let me check on ur order, what ur name?”, or if the app would offline products that aren’t available and stop setting up the employees to handle issues like these. Simple communication was missed and resulted in a very poor poor experience.

The coffee tasted like the coffee bean water. The restrooms and tables are filthy. On top of that, they close the lobby at 7pm instead of "10 or 10:30pm"

***I DON'T BELIEVE THE "OWNER" CARES. EVERY RESPONSE SAYS SORRY AND ASKES FOR YOU TO WASTE YOUR TIME SUBMITTING YOUR REVIEW AGAIN, ELSEWHERE***After my experience and then reading all of the recent reviews, I believe my drinks were purposely made wrong to punish me for showing up when I did. My total of $21 was wasted. I had planned on tipping over 60% bc of when I arrived. Obviously, that's not happening now!I take responsibility for showing up 5 min before close, but I tip GENEROUSLY when that happens. I apologized for arriving so close to close and gave my order (3 identical drinks that are VERY EASY). I was handed a drink tray (I didn't ask for one, nor wanted one) with all 3 drinks in it, I thanked them, and the window was closed. I pulled around to the back parking lot, put my car in park, and opened one of my drinks. They were all horribly wrong. I literally can't drink them. I order blonde for a reason. I can't drink the regular expresso. And why was there almost 2 inches of foam on top of each drink??? White Rochas are not supposed to have foam. I even specifically ask for NO FOAM. I am beyond livid. I was back in front of the store less than 10 min later, yet the staff was supposedly all gone for the day, according to the maintenance guy. How? Ugh. I have come to this location about once a year as I live on the other side of town, but every single time, they ruin my drinks. They have NEVER gotten it right.

I ordered my drinks on the mobile app at 4:45pm it says my order will be ready by 4:50. I get out of my car at 4:55, walk in and the barista asks whats the name? I tell her Betty, as I’m the only one there and no line outside…. I waited an additional 10mintues for my drinks. At this location the manager nor the baristas have a sense of urgency.

Usually go to the Westgate location so this isn't my Starbucks. Ordered Venti White Mocha Frap 2% milk not what I got. They have be be a hot white mocha tried to get them to correct it. The put ice in a cup poured the hot one ice. When I said that's not what I ordered was told it's the same thing. A frappuccino isn't an iced drink. Got annoyed and left. Wasted 7 on a drink I'm not going to drink.

As a barista from out of state, these particular baristas working on 3/2 really need to revisit our cores and values. They were so rude. I was so excited to be back in TX and get my birthday reward. But alas, I am in Austin instead of McAllen. I have no usual starbucks here. This treatment was such a shock because I am used to the usual southern hospitality.They made my birthday drink wrong and then got mad about it, when I asked for them to remake it. I know how it works, as a fellow Siren. I did nothing to cause this disgusting display of attitude. You're also never supposed to close the window or turn your back to a customer, and they did both. This store is not living up to the values and could use a refresher on them.And my drink wasn't shaken. Just added oatmilk, which defeats the purpose of a grande in a venti when getting a cold foam. I want the extra foam. Not a latte filled up with the same amount of cold foam.

I don't take this lightly when giving a "not so good review". When my daughter was ordering one of the fruit drinks, the person cut her off and was like I know. How could she have known what we were going to say. The fruit drink was made wrong. When we drove up, I asked if I could add a Banana Nut bread, she asked toasted or not, I said it didn't need to be toasted. She said ok, we don't usually take addon orders at the window. I was visiting and due to that remark, will never go back there. It was a strange experience.

Terrible customer service. Upon driving to the speaker there was no acknowledgment or greeting. I understand sometimes orders get backed up and you can’t assist the person right away but a simple hello or I’ll be right with you would be nice. Suggestive selling would be nice instead of being rushed with “what else” or “anything else.” Once at the window I greet everyone no matter where I go and not even a smile or a hello back. The cashier told me my total total and then hands you a device to pay and says “here you go” with the tip option automatically selected. Why would I tip with no effort even put in on just handing me my drink and food? Luckily, I don’t live In the area so I don’t have to go back to that location. My suggestion would be more training on customer service, and communication..

Okay, let me start by being fair. I love Starbucks and the review is specifically for the treatment we received on Jan. 28, 2024 Sunday!!For the most part, I enjoy everyone there and the service is usually consistent. I even have my favorite people. I definitely want to emphasize that!!But, BOY OH BOY Ana (the manager in charge that day) and I don’t know the name of the other girl ( the one with colorful hair) They woke up on the wrong side of bed that day!!We got received with a snarky remark, attitude and no care for customer service. You would think it was super busy, with a drive-thru full of cars, right!? NOPE. Not a single car in front or in back of us.Basically, when we approached the drive-thru and mentioned we had a mobile order we got told by the employee, very snarky that “NEXT TIME” we had to wait a minimum of 5 minutes!! Even, if that was true, it was the way it was said. The treatment did not get any better at the window with the sassiness. They made us feel like we were bothering them, like we were an inconvenience for showing up!!Ana was dismissive, snarky and uncaring when we let her know we did not like the way we were being treated. It was mentioned we would write a review and her only response was, GO AHEAD.I did inform her that the APP said otherwise. The APP is actually smart it will take into consideration the orders ahead and the line. So it will actually let you know pick up times!! Sometimes it’s 1min. Sometimes it’s 5min. And other times it’s been 10 minutes!!

Horrible experience with the manager, did and online order and the manager Anna had the Audacity to inform us that we had just placed our order 2 minutes before hand and needed to do it in advance with at least 5 minutes. Who in there was literally no one in the drive thru at the time. Told her that this was not necessary and uncalled for and proceeded to give us attitude for no reason! Snobby young girl without any manners or care for the company or customers that she works for!
