The guy working there closed the store at least 15 minutes early and ignored us and another gentleman who wanted to grab a coffee. He also walked right by the door and avoided eye contact because he knew he was wrong.

Caffeine ✅
Fueled up before heading into ACL. Awesome atmosphere which isn't always the case for Starbucks but this one tipped the scale and in a great way. Stop in if you're in area it's worth it!

Beware of TOWING!
I was inside when my car was towed.. I should have known better but my day was ruined because towing company really sucks! My car was towed while I literally was in line.
Could not believe the girl at the counter was instructed not to give anyone free ice or water. My dog was panting and I have never seen an Austin business of any kind refuse a hot dog water. Shameful
Now it's months later Austin city limits festivals going on and I'm being told to put up my guitar go away. I was telling anything that I would need him it's even water for my dog can be handled at the front. I've never seen somebody be so blatantly rude and unapologetically short but you know the standards anymore I guess if you can show up and fill up an app that don't mind how you talk to the customers here. It's something else

Awful experience at this location. My order was incorrect. Attitude was prevalent when I drove all the way back to the store to get what I actually ordered and paid for. My actual order came out undercooked after the fact.
Morgan (manager) and Grace are not providing the type of service I'm used to as a Starbucks regular. I'll never visit this location again.

Comfortable location. The woman who took my order was very pleasant. I still believe the prices are too high but then I'm not camping out with a laptop like so many do so maybe my view of what Starbucks wants to be to it's customers is different than what I need. Still, the coffee was good and I would go back to this location.

Since I was allowed to us the facilities in Starbucks I would donate in support to their fund raisers, but since I was denied I will take my money somewhere else.... invest in what benefits the customer not what chases him away....

The way this location makes iced coffee is better than the new way. The traditonal iced coffee brewing method is excellent. So glad this location still does it!

This location is very bad situation. My special needs Korean adopted son Taemin went in there desperate for water because of the Texas heat and the server who looks like Lurch snobbishly refused to give him any, even though his caretaker bought food and a coffee. I will never buy Starbucks again and will never buy stock.

Location: Starbucks, 1200 Barton Springs Rd, Austin, TX
We visited this location on August 3rd around 10:22 AM and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the start.
As we pulled up to the drive-thru, we were greeted with impatience. The employee taking our order—Naomi, according to her name tag—seemed rushed and didn’t repeat our order back to us. There was no confirmation on the screen either, so my wife had to repeatedly clarify that she wanted whipped cream, not cold foam, on her Grande Iced Latte. Instead of acknowledging the request, Naomi curtly told us to pull up.
At the window, she read the order back and had it wrong—no whipped cream. When we reminded her again, she rolled her eyes and took the drink back to be “fixed.” We literally watched them scrape off the foam and just plop whipped cream on top. You can even see in the attached photo that the cold foam is still under the whipped cream.
That’s not just poor service—it’s careless. Nobody was behind us, so there was no need to rush. A simple moment to listen would’ve avoided this whole issue. But instead, we were treated like we were being “difficult” just for asking for what we ordered.
The other drink, Venti Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino, was made correctly, thankfully—but the attitude we received overshadowed the entire experience.
Customer service matters, and unfortunately Naomi’s behavior was disrespectful and unprofessional. Eye rolls and dismissive service do not belong in a business that prides itself on being welcoming to all.
I hope management takes this seriously and addresses it properly—because this kind of treatment turns customers away.
Until things improve, I can’t recommend this location. 👎

super nice staff!
My car was illegally towed. The fee was $250 to get it back. Even though I went inside and got food. Never again!
