Had a great lunch special today! Will definitely be coming back.
Moms (omas) kitchen is like this secret gem in austin , serving some amazing korean eats. The flavor is here, and yes it does remind me of some of moms home cooking. Straight up bussin'.

I come to Austin every couple of years for work conferences and I've been here every time. I've liked everything I've had so far but kimbap has been my favorite. I love this place and look forward to coming every time I'm in town.

I’m so glad I found this place, it literally made my day and I will for sure be back.
Everything tasted authentic and like what I’d expect my mom would cook for me if I were Korean.
I had the kimbap and jap chae bop, both excellent and good portions too.
A hidden gem for Korean comfort food in Austin. I got the spicy rice cakes and it’s the best I’ve had in Austin. Definitely try this place and support your local business!

Oma’s kitchen is in a food hall very close to UT Austin’s campus. It is not luxe however it is great value. Yummy and well seasoned and you can control the spiciness level of your meal with the accompanying sauces. We ate there twice in a week. First time I had galbi (aka Kalbi) which is grilled marinated slices of beef short rib. Delicious and came with a huge portion of rice and small portion of bonchon which are side dishes: potatoes in sauce, Asian coleslaw, veggie frittata. The second time I had fish - 4 large whole smelts deep fried. I like whole fish but I grew up eating it, so if you don’t like to debone fish then skip this dish. There was the accompanying bonchon. Another satisfying delicious fast meal. There is a lot of choice in the menu. I would definitely give this a chance. It is a great low risk way to try Korean food or a great way to grab your favorites on the go!
For the price an excellent meal. Authentic choices available among more homogenized ones. Nice family operation Cheap eats serving UT Austin students. Ample AC and seating
Inexpensive , satisfying Korean food in a student oriented food hall. Many other ethnic choices, all inexpensive Nice , quick choice. Right across from Harry Ransom Center.
I’ve been here a few times and it always hits. I usually get kimchi jjigae and beef kimbap. Tofu kimbap is also good especially if you’re vegetarian. The seolleongtang is alright, it’s good soup though. Most of these dishes come with a bowl of rice and banchan. I think it is worth the money, not too expensive! I would come here everyday if I could.

I never write reviews but I want to support this business in every way I can since I’m moving away. A true gem of UT. My favorite place to grab a quick lunch. The food is delicious; I always get the #3 pork bulgogi.
The owner is the kindest man. I don’t speak Korean but even so he never fails to greet me and make me feel so appreciated. He even noticed when I got engaged. So many friends and coworkers didn’t even notice.
I will miss this place so much. If you’re coming to UT please take care of this place on my behalf!

The beef kimbap is delicious here. It’s the second time there. The portion of kimbap is big and shareable. And so so good!

I've never had a bad meal here and it's not insanely expensive. Sure, pops isn't too friendly but the student and younger workers are very nice and I always get a crazy amount of food
