Atmosphere and service can be sacrificed when the food is excellent, or even just good. You get it all at Suerte though: energetic, sympathetic service and a tasteful dining area. But moving right along, the star at suerte is the food. We ordered a bit of everything and also tried a couple of their cocktails. I'm pleased to report that there isn't a bad thing on the menu. From the tortilla chip appetizers to the tres leches cake, nothing disappointing. Looking forward...
I’d give this restaurant 4.5 stars. It’s always super loud when we visit. The menu is amazing but it’s very hard for people that aren’t as cultured in the foodie department as some of us. We brought our family from out of town and they had a hard time finding something that they felt comfortable ordering. When we finally decided on a dish they would try, the kitchen was out. Also when we brought our 9 yo in the didn’t have any kid friendly options for him either.
Fun restaurant with great food, drinks, and service! Inside was very noisy, although porch seating was quieter - though a big chilly. There's a reason this place is iconic. Yum.
